  Best club in all of Havana. Bought a couple bottles of 8 year aged rum at $20 a piece. Not bad at all! One point during the night the bar poured liquor down our throats straight from the bottle! It was a great night, and will never forget the experience Sarao offered.

  The best club in Havana. If you can afford it, bottle service is worth it. It’s easier to split within a group, so it’s not that bad so you can get a table. Amazing place! Amazing music!

  Terrible service and rude personnel. We even spoke to the "owner" that was not receptive to our complaints at all. Pretentious place and quite overrated. Avoid this place.

  Great music, fun to dance, pretty people. Out of 3 nights in Havana, we ended up here all 3 nights! Each night a different band played two nights were salsa bands and the other was great reggae-ton band. Yes, the bar was crowded, but that was because it was a popular spot (really picks up after midnight and goes to 3 am). If you want a table after 11 pm, you have to order bottle service. A practice that has become common around the world. You could spend as little as 85 cuc on rum or 200 cuc on Jack Daniels again pretty common for popular night clubs in major cities. If you are looking for a more authentic Cuban bar with bargain prices, this place is not for you. As far as the vibe of nightclubs go, we could have easily been in New York, LA or Bogota, but it was the Cuban bands that made the difference. The food was actually quite good the Spanish croquetas were awesome!

  I was recently in La Habana, and dropped by Saturday evening (Jan. 14th), initially for dinner, and later for "the party". I have been all over the world, and have lived in some of the top cities for nightlife (e.g., Montreal; NYC), and I must say that I hold nothing but contempt for Sarao's Restaurant/Bar. If you *must go*, go for the dinner, which was a pleasant surprise (apart from the fact that most of the items on the menu seem to not be available). But dinner ends at 10:30 PM. After that, it turns into quite possibly the most annoying nightclub that I have ever set foot in. Imagine a fire-hazard-full club, replete with massively "sense of entitlement" patrons, and a bar that clearly has no concept of speed of service. Yes, it is that annoying. How can you enjoy the night when you can neither dance (too packed), get a drink (too long a wait), or simply enjoy the music (overly aggressive territoriality). And I saw the same thing that another poster mentioned regarding tables and the preference for friends of the owner: literally I heard one mafia-looking ***hole say to one of the staff that, though there were no tables available, to "make it happen", which meant removing existing patrons from their table (guess that they were not spending enough). AVOID AVOID AVOID.

  A las 2 horas de estar en una mesa que no estaba reservada, llegaron 2 amigas del encargado y nos levantaron para sentarlas a ellas. Les importan muy poco los turistas. E conocido a varios que no vuelven. Pésimo trato. Lo desaconsejo totalmente
