I think the name comes from the fact that the restaurant is below ground level and protected from the sun. Very popular, took about 45 minutes to be seated. Food was delicious. Service was below average. Portion sizes were large and cost was extremely low.

Pizza and main dishes were very good. Wait can be 20 min during rush times. But, the decorating is worth the wait with old typewriters, cameras, and movie equipment. Can get a bit loud during the crowds and hard to have conversations.

Great pizza. Reasonably priced! Wasn't a huge fan of the chicken but it wasn't bad. Friendly service. Very popular for locals especially, so there's often a wait.

Joya del barrio Vedado. Local muy limpio con servicio amable y rápido. La comida definitivamente por arriba del promedio disponible en la ciudad, a precios razonables. Los clientes en su mayoría son locales, con algunos extranjeros.
