Ordinary park.. nothing special there..some restaurants that I didn't try. But night club/bar The Beatles is next to the park, it's my favorite bar in Varadero!

Beautiful park. Saw chickens and chicks. The bar is quite nice but was quite when we went. Do not sit on top of the huge trees. Our bottoms were burning from the red insects.

This tired park has seen better days and I expected a lot more given the way it was described in the 2015 edition of the Lonely Planet. Things must have gone downhill rapidly because there was a mini golf course that was overgrown and covered with leaves and no apparent place to hire balls or putters and a disused empty swimming pool and bar area towards the back that seems to be crumbling away too. The landscaped pond looks nice but given the lack of people, even in high season, this place feels like a shadow of what it probably once was.

Nice park for a walk or to go jogging in the morning. A couple of animals are running around and they have some nice restaurants and bars which open in the evening. The mini golf place is pretty messed up but I guess it is not active anymore, same for the pool at the back of the park.

It's definitely one of the best public park I've ever visited. There is large amount of amenities such as restaurants, boat hire services or small cafés. It's worth a visit. Especially, if you can use the Hop On/Off bus from the hotel resorts in Varadero.
