The beach was beautiful and the pools were nice. The staff was okay depending on who but generally good, and same goes for the rooms. But the food and shows were lackluster at best and there weren't many things you could do there.

Nice quiet place for families and couples. The food this year was good which is a pleasant surprise. Staff at the resort are wonderful, as always. They even have a small gym with the basics. I will be going back next year.

Good place but we had some issues with the safe, fridge was not always refill and towel stand almost always closed. Food is ok for Cuba try to a la carte as much as possible.

My husband and I LOVED staying here. It was our first time in Cuba (we only have the Caribbean side of Mexico to compare) and we'll go back as much as possible. The staff and accommodations here include everything you need. The beds were small and uncomfortable but we didn't let it bother us. The grounds people were a highlight when they make sugar cane juice, rum filled coconut and a meat roast. I also loved the BBQ chicken in the 'snack bar' at lunch. I'm careful about what I put in my tummy but I felt I had plenty of choice.

I just came back from 7 days at this resort. The food was great for Cuba , many options at the buffet. Loved the cappuccinos every morning. The staff were very friendly .. and it was consistently good service. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Beach was amazing.. never a struggle to get a nice spot there or at the pool. I loved it and would definitely return!

Great friendly resort staff. Great drinks. Great food. I would recommend the ommlettes and pasta at the buffet. But also I can't forget about the awesome pizza oven on the beach

We had a wonderful vacation at Hotel Cayo Santa Maria during the Christmas holidays this year. The service was amazing, everyone was really friendly. The resort is clean, beautiful and well maintained. We had heard to have low expectations in regards to the food, but it was good, an obvious effort was being made to ensure that meals felt fancy and food was cooked the way we liked it. Mostly, we had meat or fish made for us at the griddle.

The installations and the service were great. We loved this place. We have been in other places in Cuba and so far this is the best. Beach is beautiful and the better compared to other hotels. Food was really good, better than expected. The best of all was the people, very helpful and they seemed they weren't expecting any tip for it. Pools are great.
Really recommend!
