It is located in the best area and they have free shuttles a different times of the day to take you the malls and others places of interest around the area. The breakfast was included and petty good and the room was clean.

Nice hotel w/ clean, big enough room, true to it's star rating! Great breakfast buffet was included.
The only thing is the location was $15 U.S dollar via Uber to San Jose. Walking distance to Walmart.

We had a great room, clean, very nice. The staff were wonderful and made everything very easy. They also have shuttles that go around places to help you get around easily.

We moved to this hotel because it was over an hour and a half commute with morning traffic from our previous hotel in Alajuela. This hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the heart of Escazu, but there is a dodgy bit of road you have to cross after you cross under the interstate. This would easily be a 5 star establishment, aside from a couple issues.

First, the location is OK but not great. Highway traffic makes getting anywhere during the morning or evening hours impossible. It's literally faster to walk anywhere you want to go. Also, I get woken up several times a night by loud cars and jake brakes on trucks as the interstate is literally 50 M away from the building.

Second, my second day I returned to my hotel from work to find housekeeping had never been there. I don't care about the bed being made or anything like that, but I would like to have my trash emptied and my coffee replenished. I said something to the front desk, and they said someone would be up. They never came until the next day. I had also requested laundry service, as I am on an extended trip and was running out of clean clothes. That was also not picked up, even though I requested it the day before when I arrived at the hotel. Since that first 24 hours, I will say service has been excellent. The staff in the restaurant is friendly, but the front desk is hit or miss.

The wyndham hotel is a great place and very close walking distance to the Walmart and few shopping places they have there. It is situated so you can be great for going on the highway (if needing to go to the airport) . The staff is friendly and understanding. They have a gym that is 24/7 which is a bonus. Their machines aren’t the newest but they all work. The pool water is not heated, so it is a bit cold at this time of year. The room was a bit stuffy but the bed was very comfortable. Only downside is for breakfast, they should have milk options for people whom cannot tolerate milk (such as almond milk) this would be a plus for vegans who go visit. However they did have fruit and bread to choose from.

It’s a cozy place, and the location is good. It is very quiet at night.

The staff was not very good. They are not very cheerful, nor very professional. When i checked in they didn't even go over the amenities of the hotel. Like where the pool and gym were, or what time breakfast is in the morning. Nothing, they just said "here's your key thanks" that's it!
The beds were really nice, and their pillows are amazing. Loved sleeping in the beds. The internet stunk big time! It kept going in and out, in and out. Which is very, very, very annoying when you're trying to watch a streaming movie or youtube.

Another thing i asked is what is Wyndham's policy on service dogs? They said i had to pay $20 dollars a day for a service dog!! Can you believe this? So what if someone had a wheel chair, would you charge them $20 dollars a day for the wheelchair? A service dog IS NOT a pet, it is a tool that you must have to survive, and they want to charge you for that? Is Wyndham not a USA based hotel? Why are they charging $20 dollars a night in this hotel? This has NOTHING to do with Costa Rica laws, this is a hotel rule, not a CR law. I am going to inform the Americans with Disability Act on this ludicrous activity happening in this hotel!

Also, i asked for a taxi to the airport, the guy told me that it would be $30 dollars. I said the airport is 15 minutes away, why would it be $30 dollars? He said, that is the price. I said NO IT IS NOT! If they call a taxi that has a meter, it will only cost 10 dollars. Why on earth do they have these independent taxi drivers outside the hotel robbing tourists of their hard earned money? Why not have official taxis that come to and take the tourists? Who are these pirate taxi drivers? What background did they pass to be come taxi drivers for the Wyndham Hotel franchise? OH by the way, i took an UBER to airport and it cost me 10 dollars!

Very nice hotel. Modern design. Clean and big rooms.
    Very good breakfast!
    Friendly people at reception.
Only disadvantage is that it's near main road and even with special windows for some people it might be not enough quiet. So I would recommend rooms from other side for sensitive people.
Nonetheless it was ok for me.

Good hotel with kind staff and nice facilities. It is not walking distance from anything as it is next to the highway, not the best beds and limited room service. Good breakfast, fast wifi, nice inside pool.

Typical of the hotel's you see in the United States, clean rooms with comfortable beds. Breakfast was good and the dinner menu is reasonable.

This hotel is a rip off. We were there on business, had friends come over to our rooms and were charged $200.00 additional without being told. After we protested they said their policy only allows visitors in the lobby and not in the room. What a bunch of bologny..

    DO NOT GO THERE.
    RIP OFFFFFFFF

Excellent hotel, the rooms are really nice, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious. Very centric area close to many things. Downside is, no great view and no outdoor pool, and in general it has a very businessy kind of vibe, so its not the type of place to stay in all day But, a great place to stay if youre going to be busy all day elsewhere. (I loved the king size bed recommend it 100%)
