Beautiful and comfortable. Stayed for just over 3 weeks with my husband and teen daughter over the Xmas holidays. Even at the busiest times we didn't feel crowded and most often had the pool area almost to ourselves. Our unit was very well equipped and had everything we needed for our extended stay. Internet / wifi was functional but there were times when it was slower (probably due to heavy use). We felt very secure at all times. The maintenance and security staff were fantastic and very friendly, made us feel very much at home. We were amazed by the wildlife we spotted on the grounds and on the short trail down to the beach. The location is pretty quiet, but the local store is well stocked and we used it to supplement our supplies between trips to Santa Cruz (approx 40 mins away on good paved road) where we bought most of our groceries and got gas. The road into the property from Paraiso is gravel but was in pretty good shape when we were there (Dec 2017 - Jan 2018). We rented a small 2 wheel drive car which got us around fine but something with better clearance would have been preferable. We ate in most meals but the Surf Cafe had tasty breakfasts (same complex as the local store, approx 10 minute walk from the condo). The true gem of this area is the beach. Again, even when busy the expansive sandy beach didn't feel crowded and the sunsets were spectacular. Can't wait to return.
