  Tico Tours are friendly, helpful, and well experienced. They are not cheap, but you get a quality guided tour. With our 8 year old they guided us through the options. Asking about our likes and dislikes, and seeing an over active 8 year old boy, making good calls on which tour would work best. We did an ATV tour through them, the guide Fernando was excellent. Our son thought the ATV tour was the best adventure he'd been on.

  Tico Tours is a MUST!! Marco, our guide, was entertaining and knowledgeable. On the river tour we saw crocodiles, 10 species of birds, iguanas, but most amazing of all, Howler AND Capuchin MONKEYS! In addition to seeing diverse wildlife you’re given delicious lunch at a beautiful restaurant out in the farmlands while becoming educated on how sugar cane is harvested. Don’t miss out on this awesome experience!

  Fantastic. Couldn't be happier or recommend them more. Friendly professional helpful. All tours were so much fun and worth every penny. Guides were amazing and accomadating. Loved it and will never use anyone else when coming to Costa Rica.
  We did the river rafting adventure, Marivalles Volcanoe with hike to see water falls, suspension bridges and hot springs and the Borinquen Extreme Adventure with 12 ziplines, lunch, horseback riding, hot springs and mud bath. So awesome!

  Christian is a really great guy who speaks fluent English and thoroughly enjoys sharing his knowledge of the CR flora, fauna, people, and traditions. His 20-something-person air-conditioned van was a very comfortable way to get to where we were going. He was always very patient with us, even when it meant pulling off to the side of the road when one of the kids just couldn't wait for the next restroom! Or stopping at Sun Burst Coffee when we all were craving a grande' latte'! Our group of 10 adults and 2 teens had the BEST time on the excursions he helped us arrange. The catamaran cruise aboard the Manta Ray was a definite #1 favorite. The hike to the volcano followed by the waterfall swimming hole was also amazing! Last but not least, the Tamarindo River Boat Tour was also spectacular, despite the fact that we didn't get to see any huge crocodiles. Tico Tours is definitely the way to go for CR excursions!

  We had such a fabulous time with the help of Tico Tours.
  Our River ride was filled with great information, incredible natural wildlife and lots of joy. We also did the beach ATV's which was so much fun! The guides were a blast too, as well as gracious hosts with fresh fruit after our dip in the ocean.
  
  We capped off our trip with zip-lining, mud-bathing and hot pools! Exceptional!!
  
  The bus rides to all these locations were very comfortable, with stops along the way to pick up some indigenous produce which the guides used to teach us of the areas agriculture.
  
  We highly recommend working with Bernal and his team. We will again, on our next visit.
