We ate here while on a tour. The staff was kind and the food was very good. We also got to see some wildlife.

The place is great and clean and super friendly staff. Only issue is that the restaurant appears to be very expensive in comparison with the others around. $8 mojito at Villa Bosque $5 down the street.

Also the fact there there is only one available outlet in the room aside from the bathroom is kind of a bummer. Plus is across the room away from the night stands.

Nice simple rooms with air conditioning. Basic breakfast with choice of omelettes.
Small pool. Good design with open air covered restaurant and reception. Not much hot water for showers.
Quite a lot of flies on food. Very expensive coffee. The restaurant is run separately, so cannot charge drinks and meals to your room.

Great location. 1 block from park entrance. And the iguanas and Capuchin monkeys came close enough to our porch for pictures. Room 18 has a beautiful semi-private curtained porch that made any flaws in the room seem inconsequential.

Wonderful location, great staff. The only thing that is lacking is the internet speed and connection stength on some parts of the hotel. I really wish they would get that taken care of. Food is great and everything is relatively easily accessible.

Friendly, cool and clean but over priced for what you get, especially if you are on the first floor and have a room number 1-5. We were in room 3 and it felt more like a motel. The Bar/Restaurant is directly across from rooms 1-5 and is open to the public. Tour buses full of people frequently stop here to eat as it is one of the last restaurants before the park entrance. If you are in rooms 1-5 you can here the patrons at the restaurant. The service was slow at the restaurant and the food was disappointing for what we have come to expect from Costa Rican restaurants. Also over priced, $8 per cocktail. Then a tour bus full of people came in and we were forgotten entirely. Breakfast was disappointing. The WiFi was unreliable while we were there. The shower had hot water and plenty of it. Actually, their shower head put out more water then I'd even seen. A little odd for an eco friendly hotel, but I enjoyed it. If I were to go back to Manuel Antonio I would look into another option around that same area.

I spent a week with my family. This has been the most wonderful experience among the many places and beach hotels I have been around the world.
A great customer service. Excellent food, beautiful rooms, a nice pool and best of all. affordable prices for such an awesome place.
I am planning to return with my family and friends this coming summer.
I highly recommend the honesty, the service and the friendsihip you can only find here in Villabosque.
