Luxurious, beautiful. Sits above a white-sand beach with turquoise water. Macaws, numerous other birds and capuchin monkeys are daily visitors.

This hotel consists of several buildings added to a central ancient core.
It has rooms with views of the forest, or gardens, or ocean. A family pool and separate adult pool offer refreshing options during the hot afternoons, as do the bars and restaurants. Feb 2018, much of the Monkey Trails is closed, but one might see many birds and maybe the endangered squirrel monkeys. It's wonderful!

Very nice place. Beautiful views. Food is really good too. Only downside for me was lack of dancing and lack of music in general

Love the resort and accommodations. Views are breathtaking. Rooms are clean, free breakfast is abundant. Lunch and dinner are nothing to talk about. So many better choices in town.

Clean and with amenities not always common in Costa Rica (like air conditioning . Beautiful public spaces. Putt putt (who knew), a 2-mile monkey trail (where there really are monkeys, but I would avoid at dusk as it gets dark quickly, really quickly, because of the thick vegetation), adult and family pools and good restaurants. While on the grounds of this hotel we saw sloths, howler monkeys and 3' iguanas (one named Pearo has a home near the front entrance, look for it.) Watch for the blue cables in the trees, they are there to allow the monkeys to move along above the traffic. Lovely spot.

We enjoyed four wonderful days at the Parador Resort along with all three of the pools and each of the restaurants. All of the staff members were extremely warm, friendly and helpful. They welcomed us with a moist, cool, scented wash cloth and a lovely cold fruit drink when we arrived and continued their hospitality throughout our stay.

We were able to take advantage of the excursion services, including river rafting the Savegre river, a catamaran boat ride, and the tour of Manuel Antonio National Park. The guides for each excursion made the trip educational and fun. I don't think we would have seen many animals in the park if it wasn't for our guide Danny. He knew exactly where to look and had a telescope he set up for our viewing of monkeys, birds, land crabs, etc.

We would definitely come here to stay in the future should we come back to Costa Rica!
