Très bon accueil. Ne parlent pas anglais, mais seulement espagnol. Il faut insister pour obtenir les vélos promis. Ce sont alors les vélos d'enfant d'un voisin qui sont proposés (qu'il faut aller chercher soi-même, et les distances sont longues sur l'île Chira).

This place is nestled in the dry tropical rain forest in Isla de Chira. Lilliana and Dora are so kind and welcoming. They love to tell the history of their organization, which fought local machismo, to become the amazing lodge it is today. They also have a beautiful hiking trail on the property, Sendero El Toledo, with a beautiful mirador of the mangrove estuaries to one side and Guanacaste on the other. A great accommodation option on the island!

Estábamos aquí para dos noches, y solamente tengo buenas cosas decir alrededor de este lugar. La habitación fue sencilla pero limpia, y la ubicación es ideal para ver más barrios de la isla. La comida fue la mejor he comido en Costa Rica - rica y sana. También, las dueñas eran tan amables con nosotras y hizo la experiencia aunque más positiva.

We went on a mangrove and small island tour in January, 2017. The tour guide explained all about the mangroves and the floura and fauna that depend on them. We saw 15 crocodiles (some over 15 feet long), a turtle and dozens of different birds. Then we walked on a small volcanic island that surfaces during low tide. The trip was great and well worth it!
