Outstanding!!! That’s all I can say. Tried to book from another company that was right next to Courtyard Marriott. They quoted one price and wanted to charge another. I called these guys, they took care of everything!!! Even brought me back to the hotel after drop off. Cannot say enough about them - I’ll never go anywhere else. I dealt with Luis to pick up the car and unfortunately never got the name of the gentlemen that drove me to the hotel. Both were amazing to deal with! Book from these guys!!!

Made our first CR visit from the USA very easy.
Everyonade the process very smooth and easy from us, from the greeter at the airport to the shuttle driver and agent at the actual rental site. Great service and the car was as advertised.

I am super happy i did my homework and went with Vamos. I know people who went to costa rica and paid over a thousand dollars for their week-long car rental (easy to scam those who don't know any better). Everything was super clear with Vamos, explained nicely and not one thing that i was confused or unforgettable about. There were no additional charges i did not know about. Great guys and wonderful people to do business with.

I would give this guys 5 stars for their great service, nice cars and all but during my stay in Costa Rica my Amex number was stolen and someone tried to use it . Rental place was the only place I used my card in almost 6 months and was the only place where the card number was copied on a receipt.
I like this company, this is the second time I’m renting with them but it would be better if they’d switch to more secure ways of using credit cards

This is a great company to use for vehicle rentals. They provided very good information about so things Costa Rica driving and genuinely some with enthusiasm about our vacation plans.

It's not the cheapest car rental, but we felt very secure and comfortable that if anything went wrong the company would be there to help.

The car was in very good running condition and clean. It's a little tricky getting into the facility because of the unusually busy intersection right out front and if you're hungry do not both with the family-style "authentic" restaurant right out front.

I'm sure the staff at Vamos can give you a better suggestion for food.

Perfect place to rent a car for a trip in Costa Rica. They pick you up from the airport and even give you a cell phone to use as you need for $5 a day. Easiest rental car experience I've had and every employee was positive and courteous. Will be back.

Highly recommend using this car rental company! The price was exactly what they quoted, no secret fees. The cell phone was so essential to our trip, it was great to have the Waze app to get us around town and be able to book last minute tours using the phone as well. I would definitely book with them again!

Vamos was extremely helpful throughout our trip. We had a situation where the car window was broken and they came to meet us at the location we were at to drop off a new vehicle. I can't thank Luis and Jose enough for their support and courtesy. I have already recommended Vamos to a friend who is headed to Costa Rica for his honeymoon.

Each step of the way, Vamos was prompt. When they said they would be somewhere, they were.

Best experience ever. The cheapest price we could find, friendliest employees, and very accommodating. They pick you up from the airport to avoid the extra airport tax fee and their office is close to the airport (San Jose). We had an early flight home so they met us at the office to drop off the car early which was amazing. They also gave us a complimentary phone that saved us with the gps and Ways App. I will go to Vamos 100% if i ever return to Costa Rica. Get the full coverage, because our brand new 2017 4x4 got keyed our first night and you never know what people will do to your car. But rent from this company, my friends and I had the best experience with them.

First thing I am usually skeptical of reviews, but after reading a couple of good ones decided to rent a car from Vamos for our trip from San Jose Costa Rica to Jaco Beach the last week of March 2017. You have to understand that half the price of car rental is insurance .you live with it, it is mandatory, law, nothing you can do about it ,so just go with it, do the entire package and avoid a major withdrawal on your credit card for deposit. I dealt with Luis Sanchez at the San Jose airport location, both checking out and checking inhe made the transaction professional, pleasant, easy, and what they quoted is what I paid. I definitely would rent from them again. Hey I thought Atlanta traffic was bad but Costa Rican drivers make them look like kindergarten drivers.get the insurance, not for what you do, but what might happen to you. You get a extra driver added for free and they were waiting for me at the airport. Also after floundering around found the app "map.me" that after you load your location using WiFi does not require cell towers, just satellite and was dead on

My sister and I rented two cars for our trip to Costa Rica. We had originally requested a roof rack but the car with roof rack never came back. The team at Vamos worked hard to help us find an alternative to a roof rack. Throughout our discussions they were always solution oriented and friendly. We finally came up,with a work around and drove our little cars through parts of Costa Rica without any problems.
I would highly recommend renting from vamos. The prices are fair, the online experience is easy, and the rental is what you see is what you get. Overall, staff is courteous, service oriented and very friendly and they treat you like a friend arriving back from holidays every time they see you.

Just finished a week long rental with Vamos. Very friendly folks, they meet you at the airport with a sign and shuttle you to their rental car area five minutes away. We had a Korean SSangYong Koronado (midsize 4x4) that did great on the rough roads. They also speak great English and have a U.S. 1-800 number.

They know about credit card insurance and don't try to push any additional insurance than the required. They also know Costa Rica roads can be rough and won't hassle over any light scratches or rock chips that some of the other vendors (*cough* Alamo *cough*) will charge you over $500 for.
