This is my third time renting in Costa Rica and will definitely be going to Adobe in future. The prices are the same as the other rental agencies, but Adobe tells you up front the all in price. Other agencies will leave out some mandatory fees so when you show up at the office you get hit by an additional $150 in fees. Great service and quick. Highly recommend!

Pickup and drop off were a breeze, no issues with the rental vehicle either.
We got a Hyundai Tuscon, it seemed fairly new, had plenty of cargo space, Bluetooth connectivity for making phone calls or playing music, 4x4 was also available, which came in handy on some of the dirt roads when it rained.

2nd time renting. Good Prices, will drop your vehicle off to you at your hotel and do all the paperwork with you there. No need to leave for pick up.

Very good service and the only company I know that doesn't charge you hidden fees in Costa Rica. We rented a 4 by 4 for 7 days and had a very good experience.

Super affordable and excellent vehicle. Got a Toyota Santa Fe, did great driving in Costa Rica. The staff here was quick with airport pick-up, also very informative. Probably the easiest rental car process I have been through.

We chose this rental car agency because of the good reviews and we were not disappointed. I accidentally rented the car for an extra day and when we returned it a day early I was pleasantly surprised to be refunded for the extra day! They even shuttled us to the airport. I got exactly the car we ordered and the full insurance coverage just to be safe. It was a good deal in comparison to other agencies for what we got. A++

It was relatively easy process considering some of the nightmares I read about renting a car in Costa Rica. I didn't have to worry about extra fees or insurance as it was all upfront. Their service was nice and friendly and they provided a free local phone and cooler as well. Would definitely rent from again

At first it was great renting from these people but they made a mistake of giving me a manual and then charging me extra for the automatic. I returned a day early and since It's not within the the 24 hr period I'm paying for 4 days when I only used it for 3. No customer service and the guy I returned the car to was not very nice and sarcastic.

Got three stars because they came and got the car from hotel barcelo, but only after barcelo called them and asked. They wouldn't do it when I did. Charged me way too much, tried to do it on sly but my CC company alerted me. This should be two stars otherwise. But car was clean and dinged up but nice. Staff were cool except counter staff

Excellent car rental company! Highly recommended and transparent pricing. Make sure to bring a letter from your credit card company for proof of your car rental insurance benefit. This will save you a lot of money vs buying the additional rental car car company insurance.

Been to Costa Rica 4 times and this has been my best experience renting a car. The only place where the estimate I got was the final price. Every other place they added charges and fees. Don't go with anyone else except this company if you want a hassle free easy experience.

Worst experience ever. This adobe is NOT THE ACTUAL COMPANY but an AGENCY THAT CHARGES YOU ALL THESE BULLSHIT FEES. Do not go there..

Flight got delayed and the shop closes at 10pm and it took an hour for someone to come get us at the door. Finally someone came and helped us pick up the car we had rented online through our credit card company where we had already paid for insurance. The reviews claimed that adobe didn't have any hidden fees or didn't force you to get that basic insurance on top of what we had already paid AND ITS NOT TRUE. The guy told us he wouldn't give us the car unless we get that basic insurance which was $300 USD. Not only did we have to pay it just to get our car but the contract with the credit card company insurance states that if we do get that local basic insurance it VOIDS their insurance coverage. Not pleased at all. Would not recommend it.

Great experience and easy to use (American) Make sure you get a wifi device to use if you are a foreigner. You will get lost quickly without one. The contract was easy and they will shuttle you to the airport.

It can be a worry hiring a car in another country, however it was a smooth experience here. Obviously, it's slightly less convenient that the office is not at the airport, but their shuttle bus was waiting for us and it's only a short trip. It took a while to find all the details/costs of our booking, but eventually we were on our way. The Tuscon we hired was in good condition and suitable for the typical Costa Rican roads! Drop-off was quick and easy. Would hire from again.

Staff is nice. They don't have a kiosk at the airport so you have to step outside where they will guide you. Free shuttle to the shop. Reasonable prices. Nice cars. They are open at 5 am for those who leave too early. Very good customer service

We were sketched out to rent a car in Costa Rica in fear of getting ripped off somehow. We were recommended to Adobe by others and it was a fantastic choice. they were up front about the contract and all the costs associated with it, they showed us step by step. they promptly picked us up from the airport and drove us to their location. fast, simple and easy process with our reservation. We got to drive a brand new 2016 Hyundai. Thanks adobe!
