Une assurance beaucoup trop cher et impossible de connaître son coût à l'avance
Just like everyone else have mentioned they hide the true cost of a car rental by not showing the "mandatory insurance" which, in my case, doubled the rental rate. $300 to rent the car and $300 for insurance. Ridiculous and avoid at all costs! Bank will do nothing to solve this either. They're a bunch of thieves!
Agree completely with other review concerning insurance - was lied to concerning the amount of the insurance that was to be added.disputing it now.
Me gustaria encontrar el lugar con mas exaxcitud una ubicacion que necesite localizar ejemplo terminal de buses
I rented from the Thrifty airport location, San Jose Costa Rica. I can not begin to describe how horrid the experience was, but will attempt to do it as succinctly as possible. I had heard the horror stories regarding the upsale of insurance and gps. So I was proactive and called Thrifty before I left and said give me everything possible and my $324 weekly rate went to $548. Fine, at least I knew the maximum I was in form and wanted to avoid the hassle on my vacation. Boy was I wrong, each tourist took 45 minutes to get their car and each local was in and out in less than 10. I understand why, we all made the same argument that we had pre-arranged everything, but in the end we all left between $300 to $400 lighter than expected. If you did not accept the agency price they would not let you have the car. What am I going to do with two kids and wife dead tired after 8 hours of flights and a 3 hour drive ahead of us? Ultimately my bill came to $910 and I have been dealing with Thrifty for two months and the only answer I get is it is not a company store, but a licensee. It was absolutely extortion and there was nothing any of us could do about it. AVOID AT ALL COST!
i would like to warn people that i rented twice from the liberia rental agency and once nov12th/2012 i was charged 300 damage deposit on my credit card and i just had it returned march 23rd after calling at least 2 dozen times to get my case resolved.
on a nother note i rented again from the same agency the same exact vehicle fro 3 days on jan 23rd 2013 much to my shock i was charged 950 dollars for a damage deposit ( wow what a difference) anyway i returned the vehicle again and was assured that my deposit would be returned within 4 to 5 business days its april 8th and i have yet to see the money returned to me . so thrifty has done nothing ,offered me nothing and has stolen my money be aware people i will repost when i finally get my deposit back so you can all see the lengthy process it takes to do business with this company
