  Nice place sitting directly on a beach with hanging beds hidden between the palms. If you want to have a nice relaxing time, this place should suite the purpose, just hanging out and relaxing the waves, the sea, the fresh air and sun. A heavenly combination with virgin sands.

  The service, the food, the drinks, the pools, the ocean. You can't go wrong with Tango Mar, especially if you want a quiet and relaxing vacation in paradise. My wife and I spent our Honeymoon here, and they upgraded us to a Tiki Suite, sat us to dinner at a private table just feet from the crashing waves, and catered to our every desire. We can't wait to come back!

  We stayed during Christmas and fell in love with the place.My wife and kids,16 and 21, really enjoyed everything about the place.Great food,great staff,great room and beautiful beach.We had a awesome trail ride on horseback,went zip lining, deep sea fishing and and really enjoyed having the beach almost to ourselves!.The owners both went out of their way to make our stay special.This is the first time I have written a review but felt they deserved a good one.We will be back.

  Very nice place but very very expensive. Try it for a night. No markets around, just their restaurants. Very friendly staff. Nice beach.

  Very average food. The golf course was extremely disappointing. If you're staying here to golf, you won't be very happy. The groundskeeping staff for the golf course are the same as for the hotel and have no training specific to golf course management. Greens were in terrible condition. Only a 9 hole course.

  fantastic beach, very nice Resort. horseback riding was great, galloping on this same beach. A closed resort, so if you want contact with the real Costa Rica your in the wrong place.

  Stayed here for my honeymoon. It was amazing! This hotel has the best of all worlds- close to the city, the water, and has plenty of on-site walking!
