All the rooms they have are very basic. The bed is pretty comfortable. The staff are really nice. They barely have hot water in the shower and the water pressure is pretty bad, breakfast is typical but good enough.
But, they have a serious ants problem! There were ants everywhere - in our bed, in our sink and in the shower, on the desk at the room, and also at breakfast right where all the food is. Nowadays there are many ways to deal with this problem and there is no reason for us guests to suffer from this.

I loved this little hotel. Free coffee & tea 24/7, parking with security guard, AMAZING service staff, breakfast included, you can use the sister hotel hot springs (we didn’t but we had he option). Pura vida!! Keep the good work!!

We arrived very late because of flights and traffic but the hotel was accommodating. Rooms were clean and nice and breakfast was very good. We loved the view of the Arenal Volcano and the pool. Too bad we could not stay longer.

Great breakfast in the morning and really good location. They have a nice pool, which I couldn't take advantage of because it was chilly and rainy. Only down side is that the rooms are a little musty

The value of this hotel far exceeds the price. A clean room in walking distance to town, private guarded parking & a fresh breakfast by the pool. Great deal & great WiFi.

Tiny double room (room 19) - the small double bed took up most of the room. Not a single bit of storage (no drawers or cupboard) or anywhere to put two large travel bags apart from one on the small amount of floor space and one balanced precariously on the chair). Bed was so close to the wall (less than 1 foot away) I had to walk sideways to get into it. This room is smaller than others and right by the car parking. Two bath towels but no hand towels. One of the bath towels smelt of body odour (and it wasn't from my partner).

Its very noisy from about 5.30 am - kitchen staff start then. Try and get a room far away from the kitchen and car park.

On the plus side, it is close to all the restaurants and shops, and it does have a pool (didn't use it). There's also a great view of Arenal volcano.

We stayed 3 nights here. It was a good experience over all. The rooms are clean, spacious. Free breakfast for everyone by the pool which was very rich. The only complaint about this inn wifi was very slow. They offer a free access to hot springs but it is 7 km away. The view of Arenal Volcano is awesome from your porch.

Awesome hotel. Breakfast was amazing. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed our trip very much. It’s centrally located, rooms are clean. Staff is very friendly and knowledge. They have a sister property you can go use the hot springs at, it is about 7 kms from the hotel but we had a car so it wasn’t a big deal for us. Only complaint we have is the wristbands we had to wear to go to hot springs were not very comfortable to keep on all day so maybe consider handing them to the guests instead of insisting they wear them on the spot.

Great location. We had a clear view of volcano everyday. Breakfast buffet was good. We enjoyed the area so much we stayed ine more night. I recommend booking at expedia to get a better deal than booking at hotel. Expedia deal included hotsprings at another hotel while booking at the hotel was more and it was not included.

Great little hotel. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. The pool has an amazing view of the volcano. Location for walking into town was just perfect, a couple of minutes. For the price this place is great. And towel art was wonderful

The room was spacious and clean. The place is not luxuriously outfitted but very comfortable.
The beauty is in Arenal. Be sure to wake up early to catch a glimpse of the volcano before the clouds come in. Breakfast is superb here and there are lots of good food options on the main street (walking distance away). Jesus at the front desk was very helpful.

    Very good choice!
Thanks to staff from the Hotel, specially to Alonso, very informative and helpful at any time! Our staying was very good, the included breakfast is superb. Very clean rooms and facilities, definitely was worth the price. There are many options for dinner and lunch since the hotel is just a few steps from everything in town. Just a few things to improve like some of the doors that need some paint. Just a small detail, but generally the experience was great. Thanks.

Clean rooms for a great price. Staff was very friendly and always helpful. Hot traditional CR breakfast was great as well. We stayed here for two nights and was pleasantly surprised. Convenient location that is in downtown La Fortuna and is within walking distance from most restaurants. Will definitely consider staying here for a few days again on my next trip to Costa Rica.
