This is a really nice hostel to socialize. The owners are relaxed and helpful. Kitchen is well equipped and you are not far from the restaurants in Quepos. The public bus passes right in front of the hostel several times an hour so you can quickly go to Parque Manuel Antonio and the beach. Definitely recommend.

The place is honestly not very beautiful but it is still one of the most comfortable place we've been in Costa Rica. The rooms are great. The common area is full of playing games and the hosts are very kind. The common kitchen is very great, clean and you'll find all the kitchenware you need. I think it is well located since you can walk easily to downtown Quepos and buy everything you need and there's a bus stop (530 colones) in front of the hostel to reach Manuel Antonio. PS: Ask the host the path to reach the secret waterfall! It's beautiful, isolated (calm) and fun.

Really nice place. The staff are chill and helpful. There's free breakfast and a large common area with couches, games, a PS3, computers you can use and free coffee. The rooms are nice, and they are separated from the common area so you don't hear noise when trying to sleep. The location is a bit awkward, perched halfway up a hill making it tough to carry bags. Overall, you'll have a really nice stay here!

The hostel is very crowded, dirty, and a party hostel. The reception was okay but they do not take credit cards, only cash. There are many steep stairs to reception and to the rooms.
When we were shown our room there was a couple making out and the hostel employee didn't ask them to stop and just joked about it. It made me very uncomfortable and I didn't feel welcome in the room. The 6 person dorm room was very small and not nice, and there were no lockers in the room. It's very hot in Quepos and there is not air conditioning at the hostel. There were non-hostel guests hanging out and partying, so it appeared there were no rules about non guests coming in. It was not secure and the dorm rooms are not kept locked. They also had a DJ on site, which is good if you like to party I guess but don't expect to sleep here. My friend and I are both from the US and have stayed at hostels before, but this one was probably the worst we have ever been to. It was so bad that we decided to not stay there. They have a very strict cancellation policy and they charged us for all three nights anyways. We don't recommend staying here unless you are okay with a dirty hostel where you cannot sleep. Also, it appeared to be more of a hostel for locals because we didn't meet anyone from out of Costa Rica.

A very good valued place. It's a 10 minute walk up a hill from the bus station. The dorms were nice, spacious with attached bathroom and hot water. There is a kitchen, free water and of course WiFi. The staff are mainly volunteers and pretty friendly. For the price you pay it's good value.

This was a great hostel, and I would recommend it. It was great to meet so many people from around the world. I especially loved the staff at the hostel. Mauricio and Caleb were super friendly and helpful! They even took us out dancing one night. :)
