Cute little cabin with front and back porch. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast buffet included. Fresh juice, fruit, and other delicious stuff.

Very clean rooms, very friendly staff and extremely beautiful environment. The beds are comfortable and the bungalows are private and spacious. Would definately come back.

Accommodations are comfortable and staff are nice and welcoming. The food at the restaurant is above average, but overshadowed by many of the other options in the area. Be prepared for unpleasant experiences with the showers, which range wildly from scalding hot to bitter cold, an adroit hand on the temperature controls on necessary to avoid pain.

Sehr schöne, ordentliche und moderne Anlage mit schönen Zimmern bzw. Häusern. Vor allem sehr nettes und freundliches Personal, sie helfen selbst in einer Notsituation äußerst gut. Es ist alles vorhanden in den Zimmern was man benötigt. Das Frühstück und Abendessen ist auch wirklich gut. Vor allem die Preise für das Abendessen sind angemessen. Uns hat es hier sehr gefallen.

Amazing hotel! Individual bungalows with front and back porches. We had a stunning view of the volcano from the back porch. The bathroom/shower is pretty big. Very clean room. Had a really great time!!!

We absolutely loved our time here at Lomas! The room had a great view of the surroundings, including the volcano. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was always warm and incredibly flavorful, we loved the omelette station!
The internet is free, which is great, but the speeds weren't very much with which to be impressed. It worked great for a couple smaller Netflix shows on the AppleTV, but couldn't handle much bigger than that. It worked great for us locate and plan our daily excursions, which really would have been good enough.
All in all, we loved it here and we'll definitely be back!response / report this review -

Wonderful vacation site with a great view of the volcano. The hotel rooms were gorgeous with a beautiful scenic view. Hotel staff was excellent and served great food.

Spacious comfortable cabanas in a well maintained garden. Breakfast setting is wonderful and you can start bird watching will munching on your papaya. Remarkable smart little pool.
Attention: they just started construction of an expansion which will last 8 months and work starts early. It is pretty loud and is next door to the open air breakfast area.response / report this review -

I had a great time at this hotel and the staff were really friendly. I left my backpack and DSLR camera behind when my driver got confused and the hotel was able to get it to me the same day after a 3hrs drive to my next location.
The only reason they lost the one star is because the room service food was expensive and not that good. When I went into the restaurant the food was perfectly fine.response / report this review -

Staff was friendly and very helpful! Cabana's were well taken care of. Grounds were absolutely beautiful! Would return again for sure! (Breakfast was was decent but didn't expect spectacular from buffet style complementary)

This was the first place I took my wife it is called llamas of the volcanoes you are staying in Huts at the foot of a volcano that erupted back in 1968 the history behind it was truly amazing

It was overall a very nice place to stay and we were fortunate enough to have a clear day where we could see the volcano and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had the sea bass one night and that was phenomenal. The morning breakfast buffet is also nice and quick with a variety of options including an omelet station. You can easily get in and out before heading out for activities during the day. The bungalows seemed to be far enough away from each other where noise was not an issue. It is about a $5 cab into town from the hotel most of which is just the driveway/entrance to the hotel. Most people leave to do a variety of activities during the day and the hotel is pretty empty so the pool is never crowded.
One thing that they could improve on is the internet wifi. I only wanted to use it to tell family we had arrived, but was not able to get on the network until the following morning. Also, my wife got a pasta dish one night and it tasted like spaghetti-Os.response / report this review -

This place is amazing! It's a ways off of the main road, about 1 km ok so, but once it comes into view you'll understand why. The view of the volcano is spectacular! The front desk folks were really nice. The restaurant was really nice.The bungalows are very modern in design with high ceilings and tons of windows for natural light. Honestly, we would have gladly stayed here for our entire trip, but alas, we had to go. I would 100% recommend this place for anyone looking for a beautiful, romantic, quiet stay in La Fortuna.

The hotel is in a stunning location at the foot of the volcano. It has all the facilities you could ask for including pool, Fridge, safe tea and coffee making facilities. We had superb food. The accommodation is stunning and services second to none with all staff very attentive. The grounds are immaculate.
5 star rating is not enough!!
