A good hotel not too far away from the airport, our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fine as well.

Room was very dirty with fresh stains on the bedding. Many insects in the bathroom. Cheap room with a free shuttle and simple breakfast. Hotel was ok but room was too dirty to recommend to others.

Just as advertised. Excellent service. Shuttle on time at 6am. Price reasonable, Room immaculate, and yes ladies there is a bathtub😂room 6. Ssshhhh bring a candle, some chocolate and a fizz ball to close your journey and return renewed! Pizza hut a black away, i suggest lasagna /veggie option. This is my official fob in san jose.

If you stay here you must eat at La Calle Beer & Street Food only three blocks down! You will defenetly not regret it. Hotel is fair for price , swimming pool and parking! Breakfast included but not that great!

Location is good and they provide a taxi from and to the airport for free. Pool and little garden in front of the rooms are nice but there is this smell like a bathroom cleaner was very very strong. If you are sensitive to smells i wouldn’t recommend this inn. I wanted to leave this place after i walked in the room. If i knew i could get a refund i would definetly stay somewhere else.

La Guaria is a perfect starting point and ending for any trip to Costa Rica. The location could not be better, one block from the park and cathedral and walking distance to many parks and restaurants.
The hotel is family owned and operated and they make you feel like family too.
The rooms are clean and the pool area is an oasis.response / report this review -

Superb value, clean and comfortable, air con, WiFi, TV, very handy for airport with shuttle included in the very cheap price. I left at 5am so didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. But woukd happily stay again.

Nice place to stay close to the airport, the have car service to the airport..the service is good , the room r clean and its in the center next to bars and restaurants. I enjoyed the 1 day I had there..next time I'll stay for more.

Not very comfortable, however it's a convenient place to stay if you're headed from or to the airport, or looking to jump on the Caribe Shuttle (close to Denny's).

Decent hotel with cosy rooms and a small pool. Free simple breakfast and free airport shuttle. Very convenient for a just one night/long layover.
