Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Food at the on site restaurant is delicious (including the buffet breakfast!). Close to town, close to the beach. Greenery and overall scenery is beautiful. I also love the iguanas. Pura Vida!

My wife and I have recently spend a week at this beautiful Hotel. We were treated like royalty, we found the staff to be competent, professional and helpful. The meals were of the highest standard and very tasteful. The room we had with a private terrace and hot tub was delightful and provided us with total privacy. I would highly recommend this piece of Eden to all those couples who wish to enjoy themselves in a romantic getaway.

Jardin Del Eden was the best decision! We took our honeymoon in Tamarindo and this boutique hotel was perfect. From the amazing breakfast (and restaurant), to the smaller adults-only vibe, to the beautiful landscaping and proximity to everything - we had the best time. Everyone is so friendly and willing to help with tour bookings, etc. Thanks again for the amazing stay!

Beautifully landscaped hotel with amazing ocean views. Rooms were large and clean. The bed was firm but comfortable. The front desk attendent was not as helpful as you would expect at a upscale resort when we checked in. However the wait staff was excellent. Very friendly and made us feel welcome. The hotel is back away from the main street and very quiet however the private pathway that leads to a small private beach was great. The private beach was nice to have with a little bar but get there early to snag a shady spot. Most people put their towels on the best chairs and save them all day even if they aren't using them unless you get there first.

The included breakfast buffet was the best part of our stay. It has so many options that vary slightly each day but always include fresh fruits and juices, mimosas, homemade yogurt and an omelette station. They served a variety of local and non local foods.

With a different experience upon check in and a few other minor things, it easily could have been 5 stars!

The grounds are unbelievably beautiful. Everything is super clean and the staff is polite and friendly. One thing I wish they would change would be the air conditioning. We couldn't use it during our 7 day stay as it smelt really bad when we would turn it on.

The best part of our stay was the breakfast So many options and the fruit was on point everyday. The restaurant staff members made our stay amazing. Moises, Hussein and Endy at the restaurant are fantastic people. Thank you for your great hospitality.

Really enjoyed all the amenities here. Super friendly and attentive staff, free quality breakfast, and a private beach area that is very close by and easy to access. Also you get reliable wifi throughout the hotel and even the private beach area! The bar in the beach area has appetizers/snacks for sale from a nearby eatery, beverages and a friendly bartender. The private area also is secure and you can leave your belongings with peace of mind as it is camera covered and gated. The walk to the access is a surreal pathway that occasionally has some monkeys. The property is very nicely landscaped and beautiful. Highly recommend the garden of Eden if you are staying in tamarindo! The only thing that could use improvement would be the quality of the bed as it was a bit uncomfortable.

This is a paradise. I loved the people the food the welcoming service staff. Mario, Marecella, Joakim, Natalie, Victor and the spa staff are so wonderful. They make this place magical not the owner. The staff. From the cleaning staff to the security guards they are top knotch. I am going back for a girls weekend.

Amazing adults only hotel. Tropical landscaping with a nice, quiet pool area. The rooms are unique and a little quirky, but comfortable. There's a private beachfront area just a few steps away, and the surfing is pretty good. Tamarindo is a fun little town, and the Jardin is right in the middle. Highly Recommended. We we be returning next year.

Quiet and peaceful setting. Service is great and friendly. Pool area is lovely but smaller that I expected from the photos. Wifi is weak in the rooms. The breakfast buffet includes custom eggs and pancakes and waffles. They also offer costa rican foods which are tasty. We received many perks with our Reservation.. For booking more than 5 nights we got a complimentary cocktail every day, 1 free night, 1 free dinner and 30 minute massage for both of us. Location is central to all places in town.

Great alternative to larger and all inclusive resorts. Because I was there during the wet season, often enjoyed the pool by ourselves and no problems with service. While I am sure the staff is smaller during these months, the hotel was more than adequately staffed and all services were available. Secure & quiet relative to other hotels in area, but still an excellent location. Staff was very friendly & helpful, especially Henry @ reception in the evening and the on-site massage therapist, whose name I can't recall. My suggestion to visitors is that while the restaurant is adequate for breakfast & included, if you want something a little different or with a little more charm or authentic, venture into town. Drinks tend to be slow to arrive at the pool, but always delivered with a smile. If you want them quicker, I would suggest ordering and waiting at bar, which is right up a few steps from the pool. Better location than the all inclusives in the area if you want to explore, try restaurants or enjoy night lifewalkable to almost everything.

Horrible stay and inappropriate staff. I wrote a review about my experience at their hotel and it was not a glowing one. The director of relations actually went through my history and said I lied about my review because I was in two countries at the same time. I sat down and wrote my reviews of the trips I took over the summer and was not in two countries at the same time, they were just posted in the same day. Instead of being professional and addressing that the hotel is not five stars NOT EVEN CLOSE, they attacked me and asked if I was a hired reviewer. This should show people that they shouldn't stay here and this place is EXTREMELY unprofessional.

We booked last minute and weren't disappointed. It was a lovely, lovely hotel. Great rooms and service. Lovely gardens and a very nice breakfast buffet. We will definitely book again when we come to Tamarindo next.

I spent here three free days before my business meeting in New York. Definitly the place to be for me and my wife in the next summer season.

We stayed here in April 2016, and were slightly disappointed with the renovations. But we plan to return. A great combination of quiet, relaxing venue and access to beach and village.

I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed staying at this hotel. It is like a slice of paradise right in the middle of busy Tamarindo. The hotel is actually set back a bit from the main road and beach. At first this seems to be a negative but in reality it is a huge positive. Tamarindo is a busy and noisy town. You would never know it staying in this hotel. It is a perfect, private and beautiful oasis. When you are ready to head down to the main road / beach area you are only a five minute walk down a private walkway away. The hotel beautifully designed and decorated. Our room had everything we needed and more. Also I cannot say enough about the staff. They are professional, attentive and just downright friendly. There is no doubt I would stay here anytime I am in Tamarindo.
