  Went to the casino. Me and three friends were the only people in there, and went to the blackjack table. We didn’t see the dealer shuffle and he drew 3 blackjacks in a row to start off. We asked for him to reshuffle, and he refused. Proceeded to flip 21 after 21. Coincidence? I think not

  Staff are amazing and cannot do enough to make your stay memorable. Convenient location and only a stones throw from the beach. I recommend you have a cocktail at the pool bar, whilst enjoying the crystal clear waters of the pool.

  The hotel has a priviledged location with a stunning view to the Flamingo Bay. The staff was super kind and the food really good! I'll definately stay here again 😊

  Really slow service for being the only customers there. Food was great, and location is also great. Would still recommend, but service could be much quicker.

  Today I called in to make a reservation, first time no one answered the phone, the second time I was transferred to reservations and the call was not properly transferred. I had to call a third time, and spoke to a girl in reservations, and she said she only had garden views available, I said ok, and I asked her, do you have a swimming pool? She responded we only have garden views. I said I am not asking for garden view, I want to know if you have a swimming pool? She then started to give me an attitude. I decided not to book a room, if I cant be treated with proper customer service over the phone.

  Considering this is a three star hotel I guess it's okay but we expected more from the pictures. The beach is nice but you can't expect to be able to lie at the beach as there is no room for lying down. The pool is also a joke as there were only 6 sun chairs and a few chairs so most of the time you end up lying in the grass which i do not find comfortable at all. Also the "continental" breakfast is a joke as the scrambled eggs are terrible and the rest is South American food consisting of rice and beans, tortillas and sausages. There is no toast and only one sort of cereal. I guess this is due to the fact that the breakfast is free but I would recommend charging for breakfast instead and offer real continental breakfast. Of the 10 days we spent there we only went to breakfast three times and instead went elsewhere to have breakfast.
  Also the maids do not care if you have a sign hanging at your door asking not to be disturbed. We were bothered twice even though the sign was up. So why even provide such signs if no notice is taken? The hotel manager is also very rude and never smiles or greets one.
  If you are thinking of choosing this hotel because of the casino (like we did) please don't. The casino is a disgrace. Of the 12 available slot machines only 5 were working and even they were a hassle as it took forever for the machines to accept your money. The casino is an absolute joke. I would either recommend the hotel to tear down the casino or invest some money to make the casino bigger and better otherwise all guests coming because of the casino will only be very disappointed.
  The staff at the hotel is very friendly but considering the amount of money we paid for our vacation it was really not worth it. You have to keep in mind that apart from a little shop and a few restaurants at the plaza down the street you always have to travel with car as the taxi fares in Costa Rica are outragously expensive.

  I have to agree with previous comments. The photos look a lot better than the place itself, the food was overpriced for its quality, breakfast was included but seemed like a lot of it was reheated from the day before and my husband was told it was happy hour but the girl didn't tell him it wasn't for beer so we get a crazy bill for it. On top, I suggest don't get a pool access room bc it's super loud. To end our experience after check out they forgot to add some charges and I was chased down by the receptionist on whatsapp! How unprofessional! If you forget to do your job don't reach me that way to try and figure out how to fix it, given we won't be in the area anytime soon. I would agree employees were unhappy and they love staring and talking about you, I speak Spanish so I know.
