BEWARE! Terrible people. We booked and had a unexpected death in our family. My husband lost his mother. We called, wrote emails, called, wrote emailsover 5 weeks in advance notice that we needed to cancel. NO RESPONSE. WOULD NOT SPEAK WITH US. Had the bank dispute but they would not return a 50% deposit! We gave them over a month's notice. BE CAREFUL and as we looked further we noticed that Hotel Villa Acacia is not really in a decent part of Playa Hermosa.
We had the Acacia Pizza ( Bacon , onions, and red peppers) the pizza was alright. The crust was a little odd tasted like a pita more than a pizza crust. The server was really nice.
Rooms and wi fi could improve. Amenities are pretty decent. likely to come back because of the prices
Very nice place. Cheap rooms, very nice pool, nice rooms and breakfast. Private parking. Beach is near the hotel. 1,5 hours to Nicaragua border.
Large rooms, with mini fridge, cabinet space, closet, friendly staff, very close to the beach, breakfast is included.
Very nice place to stay. Reasonable rates, large and clean rooms. Staff is particularly helpful. For example, we came back to the hotel in the evening wanting some coffee. Since there was no nearby coffee shops, the staff opened the kitchen and brewed us a fresh pot of coffee.
We stayed in one of the hotel rooms. We discovered the next day that they offer large modern cabins for two or four people for very reasonable rates.
We checked in late without a reservation and Andrew checked us in and made us feel comfortable right away. Car was locked in the garage and they let us leave it there while we went snorkeling the next day. Very short walk to the beach which was beautiful as it is named. We ate dinner at the Restaurant next door and shared a whole snapper, it was awesome.Breakfast was good, staff very friendly too.
