Great staff! Our particular room, and I believe most of the other rooms, had an odd layout. I'm not complaining I just think it needs to be confirmed. We were looking at pics before we booked and I even thought about how strange the rooms were made. It shouldn't be an issue for any newly weds like us, serious couples, ect. Just know that you're going to "see some flesh" of the person you go with unless you go to extremes not to. We loved that aspect of it though. We loved the free breakfast which was more than enough great food. We ate dinner there our first night and it was a bit pricey compared to out in town but not for what it was. It was $96 American and that was 4 drinks, an appetizer, and two amazing seafood meals and that also included the standard 13% sales tax and 10% tip which is included at any restaurant in Costa Rica. Like I started out saying, the staff was amazing, always wanting to help in any way possible. From recommendations, calling taxis, free rides to the beach or in town, and even advice on other areas of Costa Rica. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to them saying they had a private beach when in reality there isn't such a thing in Costa Rica, or at least that's what we've been told by several locals. The beach that they take you to is beautiful, and if you don't go on the busiest holiday weekend of the year which is Easter, like we did, it's probably not packed We probably enjoyed the beach even more with there being so many locals to people watch. They do give you beach towels and a free ride though. All-in-all we would definitely recommend it and we are definitely going back! If you look in the pool photo you can see a monkey on the roof, and the other photo is basically taken in the same place, at the same time, with the phone turned 180 degrees.

We were looking forward to spending time at Issimo. The view was great in our room except for the window being broken. When we mentioned this to the manger he tried to tell us it needed to be cleaned. We asked to pay for an upgrade at a discount and he refused. The atmosphere is pretentious and the staff is less than accommodating. It is very rare we would write a bad review but in this case it was necessary. We would never stay here again. The two stars are for the servers who were wonderful. Find a better price for the price!!!!!

As the name states. Issimo Suites is “Remarkable”. Everything we experienced during our stay here ( January 22-26, 2018) exceeded our expectations. The Room, The Food, The Service, The View, The Wildlife, Everything…. If you are as fortunate as we were, you will be able to see; Toucans, Macaws, Squirrel Monkeys, White Face Monkeys, Howler Monkeys, Iguanas, and much more. All while relaxing at the resort.
The Staff takes the time to get to know you, and allows you get to know them.
My wife, and I, wish to Send a big “Thank You” to all the staff for making our stay so wonderful.

Everyone at Issimo was so warm, attentive, and welcoming. We even had an issue with the jacuzzi in the room and did everything possible to fix it. Above and beyond service, great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful view Costa Rica has to offer.

Our stay at this hotel was wonderful! From the staff's service to the rooms; everything was great! The owner had dinner near us and he was just as kind as his staff; who were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Their restaurant's food was great, the chef really does put a great menu together; I definitely recommend the Carpaccio it was fresh and it was so delicious. Their inclusive breakfast is also quite delicious Nd has a variety of food to eat from. The views are spectacular, you get the beach with the views of the mountains and jungle. And last but definitely not least you have a very close view of the monkeys near by. If we are ever in Manuel Antonio again ( which we plan to be ) this will be where we stay

Issimo Suites was amazing and the perfect spot for my husband and I's honeymoon. The property is quaint and elegant - kind of like a really expensive and decked out treehouse. We had great service, wonderful views of the ocean, and delicious food at their restaurant. Our room was comfortable and surrounded with windows, giving us a picturesque wake-up each morning. I would highly recommend this hotel for couples!

What a great place and during the low season there are amazing discounts as well, makes a good place even better. You need to call and ask for the discounts though as they can give you an even better deal than what you would find on google. Staff are amazing, whatever you want is yours. Jungle and ocean views outside our master suite complete with monkeys, sloths and Mcaws. Really, pretty amazing.
