Steps to the beach. Decent parking for the rental car. You can walk the beach to get to restaurants and bars. The room was decent. No issues with the hotel and would use them again.

Randall, the manager, will not honor online prices and so calling the hotel directly does not matter. Randall was polite over the phone, but does not respond quickly. I waited over 8 hours after talking with Randall over the phone to receive an invoice for full price after e-mailing and calling him with the confirming the discounted price. By the time he responded the next day, the online price went up and Randall blamed me for not saving a screenshot of the price and yelled at me through e-mail. Classic bait and switch. Very rude management. I can't say much about the hotel, but if how the manager treated me at the time of reservation is an indicator of the hotel management, I would STAY CLEAR of this hotel. No price reduction is worth the hassle and rudeness of Randall.

Air conditioning saved our lives, and the kitchenette was great. Service was pretty nice. Just a good hotel for the price.

Nice, clean air conditioned rooms with microwave, toaster and refrigerator. Quiet in main hotel. Right on the beach. Restaurant had good food. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

Relatively clean; they're working on updating some rooms as of our stay over Thanksgiving 2017. We stayed in an updated one not modern, but not bad. Key locks think 1990s rooms at Jersey Shore - but right next to the beach, which is a plus. Friendly and helpful staff, when you ask. (Don't necessarily anticipate yourt needs.) For the price, though, it's a good overall value.

Nice place to stay right on the beach ,front desk girl in the day is great not so with the evening guy little strange, asked for a hot plate took all afternoon and some till about 5 pm asked again they finally got it no TV's in the room maybe that is a good thing, except when it rains all afternoon and you don't have anything to do. Rooms are very clean, pool area is nice, only problem is if you like it dark at night forget it no darkeners and the lights are very bright, still would recommend it

Three stars only due to its great location right on the beach and lovely pool area. No coffee in the rooms. $2 per cup from the lobby of not very good coffee. Bring or buy your own coffee for use with the 4 cup coffee pot in the room. Front desk staff seems indifferent. No Kleenex, phone, luggage rack, or desk in the room. So close to the beach we found a crab in our room.

The staff is the only problem in this cute hotel. At the reception people look bored all the time and are very stingy with info or general help. We had part of the staff chatting outside our door every day and we had specifically asked for privacy because we had work to do. No smoking area for those who smoke, so we had to walk out in the street under the rain every time whereas in all the other hotels we found covered smoking areas available. Prices at the local restaurant ridiculously high.

I guess you get what you paid for. Took a chance on the special 40.00 a night which got me a closet size room with no windows, stuffy, and bugs. Pool was super small and dirty. The place looked dingy overall. Sorry, got to ve honest. Left place without a refund. Did not stay.

I have been visiting this hotel for a few years, last experience was terrible as there was a duplication on the room charge, 4 months later still no refund, I wish management cares about this issues and took the time to contact me. If you want to stay there, the location and access to the beach is good considering most hotels in the area required walking or driving being a mountain area. Be careful with your statement though.

Great location. My windows were facing the ocean even though it was the cheapest room. Bathrooms are too small. There wasn't hot water during the first day but then it was fixed. Overall, I would recommend this place for the price and location.

We book for 3 days and run away after one.
The employees are nice, but the problem was with the room quality. It was dirty (sand on the floor) And old. The restroom was dirty and no windows for ventilation. A bad memory from our 2 weeks vacation to Costa Rica.

Delightful hotel with direct access to splendid beach and only a kilometer out from Manuel Antonio national park! Friendly professional staff helped us obtain guided outings. Kitchenettes with lots of borrowable extras and good food shops in nearby Quepos.

Would stay here again for the beach access & location! Stayed 5 nights. Staff was friendly & helpful. kitchen was great to have & functional. Made breakfast & coffee every morning from the room & enjoyed the poolside view. Steps from the beach and a short enjoyable walk to nearby restaurants, little shops & Manuel Antonio National Park. Our backs were a little sore from the mattress after 5 nights but nothing too terrible. The location really shines on this place!

It's on a beautiful beach. Simple, small rooms, but location, location, location is what makes this place a winner!
