Checking in was a bit rough bc they weren't prepared for our coming early (eg. Didn't have rooms cleaned; miscommunication on reservation). Manager and staff were so nice and helpful though! They didn't mind that we only spoke a few words of Spanish and spoke English to US. The free breakfast was hearty and very worth waking up early for! The wifi was unexpectedly good and the free parking was very nice! The hotel lobby was very relaxi ng since it was part of a open courtyard! Water in the shower is cold though but refreshing since the area is so dry.
A good stop off place in Liberia. The hotel will help you book onto the daily shuttle bus service to take you to Rincón de la Vieja for $20 return. They also offer a $25 airport shuttle. Quaint garden for relaxing in and expect a tÃpico breakfast to start your day off. Our room was a little on the small side but it did the job.
Great staff but hotel is very basic
Staff are nice but yikes it is not a three star. The single bed moves because it's falling apart, rooms are very small and dark, no chain or deadbolt on the door, no ac, no hot water, no safe. Wifi only works in the lobby. Staff seem nice enough though. Not sure I would choose to do two nights in Liberia if I had to do it again. People are friendly but there's nothing to do in Liberia.
This is a very dirty hotel and needs a lot of work. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting and filthy.
The shared rooms have mattresses that are an inch thick and very uncomfortable.
Best hotel I have been in. No AC but that's not a big deal.
WARREN and the rest of the staff were SO NICE!! We got a room with 2 small beds for $43 and free parking that seemed safe as it was behind a metal fence with a guard. The hotel is super comfy and very welcoming. After we unpacked our bags in our room we left to get dinner but realized the door lock was broken and would not lock the door. They were very quick to help us and tried to fix the lock but after about 15 minutes they moved us to a different room. The shower water was cold.. but the internet worked well! We decided to have dinner at the hotel and. it was amazing. SO MUCH FOOD! The next morning we went to the lobby for the free breakfast which was 2 different options. We both had the plate of eggs.
Hotel is located in downtown Liberia which was close to everything. Hotel is a lovely historic place to stay. The staff is phenomenal! Owner very friendly and the breakfast was included and was delicious! The only negative is no air conditioning but we survived! We highly recommend this hotel!
Great and nice staff, stayed in the doorms. No AC, great location, comfy bed. Fans in the rooms. If you need to stay a night in liberia the prices are great, don't expect too much and you'll be fine. Restaurant in the hotel and taxi services.
It's a cozy place. Rooms are tiny. Good for spending the night if you have an early morning flight out. Food is good, drinks, not so much.
Very loud during the night, shower w/o warm water, low overall standard
This was a pleasant surprise. Really nice place, only four beds in doorms and 10usd per bed. Only downside is that the room was really hot. Were fans both in the ceiling and on the floor.
They got my reservation wrong and I had to scramble to find a place last minute at night. And the staff failed to tell me that I needed to be checked in at 5 pm or my reservations are cancelled. Would not recommend.
Great, budget friendly place in the heart of Liberia. They serve good complimentary breakfast too. I recommend staying here.
Google thoroughly believes in the existence of this hotel but no matter how many times you circle the block it just doesn't seem to be there.
