Beautiful hotel located in the Guanacaste mountains. Great food and drinks. Nice colonial style bungalows and villas with outstanding views, mud baths and hot springs with water coming from the Rincón de la Vieja volcano.

Nice private bungalow which you dont share with other people. Love the private balcony with a hammock. Its a walk from the reception and restaurant if youre further away. Breakfast is good though if you go early at 6.30 they dont have it ready yet. They have lots of activities. Ziplining was great, friendly guides. You can spot lots of animals in the hotel grounds like birds, toucans and iguanas. Negative thing is that you have to drive an hour to the national park rincon de la viejo. Theres no shortcut even though youre already at the volcano but on the other side. Roads there at in bad condition so you have to have a 4 wheel drive. Mud baths and hot springs are lovely. You can see boiling mudpools at the hotel grounds.

This is a beautiful remote resort with horse back riding, ziplining, hot pools and mud baths right on site. We visited for the day to enjoy the activities and later returned to our resort on the water. Take a gopro unit for recording the activities. I would use one on all activities.

We came into this resort with a tour guide (tico tours) and it was fantastic. The scenery was beautiful, the zip lining was beyond awesome, the horse back riding wasn't my fav but still enjoyable, and the local style lunch was beyond great. The hot springs on site are also nice and relaxing. The resort looked quite and elegant

Gorgeous. Did a trailride on horseback up the mountain, then rode 12 ziplines back down. Staff was very helpful and nice.

Fabulous resort with a nice restaurant. There are large hot spring pools heated by the nearby volcano. Right next to the hot springs is a volcanic mud bath as well.
The whole resort is right at the end of an amazing zip line course that takes you over a huge waterfall and through the jungle. An all around amazing time!response / report this review -

This place was beautiful!!! Enjoyed a full day of activities from horseback riding to zip-lining, a very tasty authentic Costa Rican lunch. And ended the day relaxing and renewing ourselves, in their natural geyser steam room, mud bath and hot springs.

Horse riding and ziplining tour with a swim in the waterfall. Great. Value for money for 60 usd. Rooms are Okay but could use Some attention like Some chairs on the veranda. Staff Very friendly. Restaurant is Okay. Gong to See the rincon national parc go on your OWN. Easy one hour drive on unpaved road. Two hour to Hike to Great waterfall or an easy roundrtrip along muddy vulacanic Pools.

The zip lining and horseback riding is amazing here! Amazing views, great staff, and very good food. The hot springs were a great way to relax after a packed day.

The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. The grounds were lovely and the bungalow we stayed in was very nice. The food was great! We took part in horseback riding and zip-lining - excellent value and well staffed. The mud, sauna and hot springs area was unique and fun!
