  The best place to stay while visiting El Arenal/La Fortuna. Family owned and operated. Nice, quaint and next to the jungle.
  Food and service is top notch, definitely recommended.

  The staff was wonderfully friendly, the hotel was beautifully set in the jungle, and overall it was a great base to go out and see the rest of the area from.

  Better than the pictures. Why stay in the city when in the jungle? It is just close enough to all the attractions and just far enough away from the tourists. The hotel is run by family. I fell like they welcomed us into their home. If they are ever in Florida, they are welcome in my home. By the way, they breakfast and food at the restaurant is first class.

  Family owned and operated, genuinely kind and caring. The property is gorgeous, filled with gardens, trees, and fields beautifully​ maintained. The bungalows are quaint and the treehouses extra special experience built among fruit trees. Pick right from your porch! The mango treehouse is the gem - extra spacious and charming. Restaurant is open air with clean modern kitchen - all food fresh, prepared with care and pride. Treat yourself if travelling through this area.

  Au milieu de nulle part un lieu merveilleux !
  Le patron Omar et son fils Alesandro (et leur équipe) nous ont fait un accueil de roi et de reine !
  Quelle chaleur humaine, quelle sympathie !
  Merci de nous avoir fait sentir si uniques.
  Sur un plan plus technique:
  Bungalow très bien équipés (cafetière, sèche cheveux, coffre fort, tv, climatisation, ventilateur, réfrigérateur)
  une petite terrasse devant pour voir le lever du soleil !
  Le bungalow est caché dans un îlot de verdure, intimité garantie !
  le enfin les lits sont très confortables !
  Petit bémol sur la douche à peine tiède pour ne pas dire froide mais au vu de la chaleur en ce mois d'avril c'est acceptable !
  Le restaurant est délicieux, les petits déjeuners inclus sont très copieux accompagnés de fruits, jus, café ou thé.
  Il y a de quoi stationner les véhicules à proximité.
  Profitez pour flâner dans le jardin et découvrir Plants d'ananas, café, mangue, coco, banane)
  Point important comptez 50 min à 1h pour rejoindre le volcan, sources chaudes ou autres activités canopiennes !

  The best service I have ever received at any hotel or Lodge. The cabins are new and beautifully constructed. The restaurant has delicious local foods. The grounds are and gardens are gorgeous. Would strongly recommend!

  Location is kind of inconvenient for sightseeing, being roughly 30 minutes or more from the popular spots by car. Rooms are pretty nice overall, and the scenery is pretty. Food at the restaurant could have been better. All in all a pretty nice place though.

  We had an amazing experience at Heliconias Nature Lodge. The atmosphere and service were extraordinary, we would definitely visit again. Oscar, Omar, and Alejandro were friendly and provided exceptional service. We highly recommend staying here!! This lodge is approximately 25 minutes to the downtown area of La Fortuna so it is close enough to visit the main attractions during your stay.

  Our family stayed here for just one night as we drove from southern beaches to northern mountains. It was a great family run hotel that was very eager to help make our stay great. While we didn't take advantage of it, they seemed to have a great set of expeditions that they offered which would have made this a great base of operations. Dinner here was amazing, and breakfast was free.
