Romatic, peaceful, and quiet. Awesome private bungalows, relaxing pool with great service and a swim up bar. Definitely a great place to reset and relax.

Easily the best place we stayed in Costa Rica in 3 weeks of travel. This place is awesome in almost every way. Really the only thing I would change is the dinner. Its basically the only place around and thus they charge a arm and a leg for it and give you a small amount of food. However, what it lacks a dinner it makes up for with breakfast. The breakfast is amazing 5 stars 6 stars. The grounds and room 5 stars.. the staff 5 stars. The price for you stay 4 to 5 stars. Dinner maybe 2 stars.

Wonderfully spacious, private casitas with outdoor balconies, some with beautiful views, outdoor showers, in suite jacuzzi, double sinks, beautiful woodwork, and comfortable bedding. Staff is fantastic. The lobby area is always adorned with tropical flowers. The game room provides many options for a rainy day. Woke up to an earthquake one day and howler monkeys the next. A short, comfortable hike to Rio Celeste behind the resort and a longer, more difficult hiking path from the nearby park. You definitely feel like you are a part of nature at this resort. Humidity is high so it is important to keep the air circulating. It rains often but they provide a large umbrella for each cottage.I would definitely go back. Bring mosquito repellent and warm clothing for cooler days. Free breakfast is included.

We arrived to a rainy afternoon at the hotel. We were greeted by the friendly staff and were served a welcome towel and drink, both of which were refreshing after the tough drive. The room itself was very clean and the balcony and outdoor shower were amazing. The inside was homey and the bathroom was large and spread out. The restaurant was nice and service was good. The trail to the river was very good and it was nice to have easy access. The food tasted quite good. The only problems are how rural the place is (tough road and not many nearby restaurants) and the price but at $150 for a room in the off-season, it’s acceptable.

The entire place is amazing. A friend recommended this stop along our honeymoon across Costa Rica and it really is great. The staff is friendly, the amenities are great, the hot tubs are actually hot, the balconies are beautiful.

Had a great lunch here. Beautiful resort, big restaurant with a couple smaller bars. Portions were small but made up for it in taste.

Really welcoming place. They had free welcome drinks, just a fruity drink but very cool, and unexcpetcted. very nice architectural design and interior. Awesome swimming pool, great food. The rooms where clean, spacious, comfy and looked fancy. They had mini bar with free coffee. It was sweet! They even drove us to our room. There was a short hiking trail to the river and the trail is natural, the scenic rain forest. Check out the pools! Just one compliant was their music choice. The staff was polite. It gets right to the rain forest. Just costly but if say its deffently worth it. And also really really good Wi-Fi!!!

Such a wonderful hidden gem. Truly enchanting. Service was wonderful, incredible grounds lush and private. Food was amazing! Best we have had in Costa Rica!! Breakfast was included and provided a buffet in addition to numerous customized items from the kitchen. The pool was perfection. Rooms were large, private and had incredible jungle views! Wild monkeys galore and the Celeste Rio..heaven!! Must visit while in Costa Rica. You won't be disappointed! We stopped here for only 24 hours to break apart the drive between Arenal and playa Conchalmy only regret is we didn't stay 2 nights here!!

Incredible hotel in the middle of Volcan Tenorio National Reserve and just 500m far from the entrance to the park. It has a path down to Celeste river and you can bath in the river, which is not permited when you visit the park anymore. Very large rooms, nice pool and jacuzzis. Tasty food but not the best. A 4x4 car is very recommended cause the rows are terrible
