An oasis of craft style beers brewed fresh onsite, along with a fantastic food menu. You're missing out if you're staying in the Pacific Central Coast and not visiting.
Place is really nice but the staff isn't friendly and it's a bit overpriced. We came for drinks and asked about the beers as they make some themselves, the waiter mumbled me some answer while watching the soccer on the tv, opposite from me. He seemed annoyed when I asked him to repeat his answer and talked to me like a silly 6 year old child - then focused back on the soccer game.
Some other places are much more friendly and cheaper.
On our recent trip to Dominical we ate at Fuego Brew Co twice. We loved it so much the first time we just had to eat there again! Our party loved the food and the beer. The kids had smoothies and those were delicious as well. The ambiance is perfect and the building is very beautiful.
Over priced. Charged us full price for first beer even though it was the start of happy hour and we even discussed the happy hour with the server when ordering. Building is cool and good sunset view. I’m told the beer was good but the lack of soft drink options was disappointing.
We got the pizza and waffle fries. It’s ok, pretty expensive and you can tell the ingredients are the cheapest you can buy. I recommend the kombucha on tap.
Went here in 2017. They had Just opened. They were trying out the menu. What we got (I don't recall what it was) was delicious. Now in 2018 they have expanded their menu, have a stage with music and or Dj on certain days. The food was delicious all around. I had the chicken dish which was excellent. The onion rings were light, not heavily battered and perfectly cooked. Lots of expats. All wait staff seemed to be fluent in English and Spanish. The brews were not to my liking but they are heavy into the IPA which I don't care for personally. Very clean and spacious.
Beer is great, food is nothing to write home about. Cool building. There is a driveway and parking in back. Go for a beer and a snack, have dinner somewhere else.
Come for the beer and atmosphere, eat somewhere else. As much as I wanted to love this place, I left feeling ripped off. We had the ceviche, lobster linguine, & fish filet satay. All were bland. The lobster and linguine were overcooked and the linguine tasted like it had been used to mop the bathroom floor. It took an hour and a half to get any food and we spent a whopping $80 for our least enjoyable, least seasoned dining experience in CR. Our server was sweet and apologized for the slow kitchen. She was nice and told us she had the flu. Eat at the soda across the street for a handful of pocket change.
Great addition to Dominical. Amazing building, grounds and location. Great team of people working that always make you feel welcome. Our favourite go to for a drink in town to catch up with friends.
This lil gem is absolutely wonderful. Hidden away in the jungle, a few minutes from the beach, this brewery/restaurant/bar had delicious ceviche and wonderful bartenders. Trevor & Luis were super cool and introduced me to kombucha (they make there) and vodka, complete with a bamboo straw!
If you're in Dominical you should definitely stop by and have a drink (or 4). You won't be disappointed.
Note: never bet against Spain in futbol 😂
One of the best spots in Dominical! Tuna was cooked to perfection and the beer was on point.
Decent beer and food. Nice setting in a green surrounding and above the brewery. Be prepared for an all-American public
Great environment and good beers. Service is good, only issue is you need to pick the table depending what kind of evening you want to have, some areas are too spread that having a close conversation is complex
Great local brewery! Patrick is interesting to talk to given his long history in CR.
So refreshing to find such a nice IPA in the tropics to accompany my seared tuna steak!! Awesome vibes and incedible building!
Best beers in Costa Rica. This swanky tree house sits just blocks from the beach and serves tasty food alongside house made beers. Managed by an expat American the only issue with this place is they ran out of all their beers! The two we got to try were delicious and encouraged us to come back the next night. Definitely has an upscale feel compared to the other bars in town, but the friendly staff keep things relaxed, as do the surf videos in the background.
