When they say Taco Barthat's what it is. You get to build your own Taco after ordering your preferred meat. You may need help with identifying all the items on the bar, but be a little adventurous, they have great combinations. I didn't have any, but they also offer mixed drinks along with breakfast items. You can choose to sit in swings at the bar or in covered outdoor seating. It is a nice quaint place with okay customer services. I would have given them 5 stars because their advertising is so fierce and the food is great! You will see signs about the Bar about 20 mins before even arriving in Jaco.

Delicious Tacos but be prepared to wait for them. Rest assure, they're worth the wait. The drinks were good good as well.

Come for food, hope for service. After having lunch here and enjoying it, my friend and I decided to come back the next morning for Breakfast. Tried to take a Picture of a little shrek pancake on the menu to show my family in hopes of bringing the kids in the group back for a fun experience. I was told NO pics as they have a menu hanging. Kinda weird, but hey if that’s a policy I get it. Ordered blueberry pancakes. They come with strawberries and bananas all over them and literally about 4 blueberries in each of the 3 pancakes. (I’m highly allergic to bananas.)When the food was delivered, I told the waitress but she just shrugged and said that all their pancakes come with bananas. (Not a banana in a single picture, other than the banana pancakes). So while the review may seem dramatic, I guess I hoped for a bit more from someplace with such great reviews.

This place is just great, starting with the "hammock" chairs. They have a combination of a buffet (for the side dishes) and ordering the main dishes which will help you to build your plate for your ouwn taste. The service is great and the food is delicious. If you go to Jaco to have to try this place.

The place looks fun but not worth the long wait and tacos shouldn't cost very much. The drinks were refreshing and the breakfast looks promising. Stick to where the locals eat.

Food is good, taco place it is not. This is a place where guys wth beards and flannel shirts who don't know how to change their own oil would think it has amazing tacos. This is a hipster's idea of a taco bar, although the food is good, and worth a visit. 4 stars because they don't really have their own house salsa like a taco bar should, cucumber Verde sauce, chipotle mayonnaise, and lots of different vinegar based bottled sauces are not salsa like i said it's a hipster joint.

Food is fantastic. Seriously very good stuff and quite the variety. Drinks are just as good. 4 star because while service was polite their ordering system could be refined and they forgot a couple drinks and we had to ask a few times. Still worth a visit for sure.

Amazing food. Amazing service. I ate here regularly during my week in Jaco. You can get just the salad bar if you like, which is great if you want to eat just a little or a lot.

Best tacos ever!!! You MUST try this place if You are in Jaco. It is 5min walk from jaco beach. We went to this place for dinner on Friday and we had to come again on Saturday for lunch. We had fish and chicken tacos. Around the bar they have swings which is a sick concept. Fantastic food and atmosphere.

Food was very good! Service was a bit slow though. Menu was hard to read, but once we figured it out, it was easy. Very unique place with good food, so we’ll definitely be back when in the area.

Lets start with the good.
The staff: excellent English(for ordering, patient, and good at answering your questions.
The general marketing, great job you hooked me from miles away.
The space, you pumped a bunch of money in to this place to make it gringo beach casual. Swings are odd but sure you do you.
The mediocre
The food for the price. My meal was ~10 USD and wasn't what I would want to order or recommend to anyone. I by no means blame the cooking staff for this. It was prepared fine.
The bad/confusing
You advertise a taco bar, and (Mediterranean buffet) but let's be real here. Your buffet is a hodgepodge of things that don't belong near a taco and are really more sides than anything.
The really strange.
Your menu is terrible. I hate to break it to you but it's straight out of an episode of Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsay, Google kitchen nightmares Sébastians. When you think taco bar you think simple not complex. Ditch over half the menu clear a ton of over head in the process and focus on a few good things.response / report this review -

With the all u can eat salad bar ever yummy taco becomes a full meal. I loved chicken ginger one. Service is excellent try the tamarind margharita!!

I love this place. Great breakfast specials and an amazing lunch and dinner menu. The salad bar is a must. Get there early. It fills up fast.

Cool place. Great quantity for quality. Missed their brunch on a Monday because they were closed for cleaning. Definitely recommend that you find your way here if only for drinks on the swing bar. Tacos are great, too. Wish they stayed open later.

This place makes great tacos!! They are wonderful even cold, when you have to take them home and leave the restaurant because some rude teenagers cut you in line then try to claim that they reserved a swing seat when they didn't. Cool place though.

Fresh food that when combined with the salad bar makes for an endless variety. Service is fast and very fairly priced. Just check your receipt, I see the tax of 13% but I didn't see the 10% service tax.

The food is very good, the problem is the space. There were some tables that were almost put together. We couldn't have some privacy. The parking space is like for 4 cars only, in Jaco that means you need to have good look to find a spot. Also, we were there with a baby and. it's not a good idea, too windy and to hot.
