If you stay in southern Costa Rica ask how far are you going to be from here. Great food, drink and sunsets to die for. I love it here. The road sucks but all the roads here suck

We've lived in Uvita for over a year and Los Laureles is our favorite place by far! Tonight was our anniversary and we chose to come here without a second thought. The food is absolutely amazing. The fish or shrimp tacos and the patacones never disappoint! The drinks are always top notch.

The owners are the sweetest people you'll ever meet. Cindy remembers and acknowledges every person who comes in there and makes you feel like a guest in their own home. You cannot come to Uvita and pass this place up.

This finca is wonderful. You'll have privacy and a private forest with a river in it as well. Good restaurant and friendly family to deal with. Only problem:in your house there is no wifi so if you net the internet for work or entertainment you have to sit at the restaurant which is always full and not too private.

Came by here for lunch. Have been in this area for years, and I have never eaten here - a hidden gem, and highly recommended. Awesome food, great service, just amazing. I can't believe I didn't find this sooner! Wow, just wow!

The meals here are tasty and very filling. The staff is very welcoming and talkative and, if your Spanish isn't very good, their English is.

Cozy cabins nestled in the jungle. Close to the center of Uvita, but secluded and private. Nice owners, and very good food in their restaurant.

Nous y avons mangé seulement, le service est de très bonne qualité, fait avec un humour maîtrisé. Il était agréable d'y déjeuner. Sans parler du plat, Quesadilla au boeuf. Vraiment très bon. Et copieux. Pour un prix très abordable. Bref, une bonne adresse.

1 - Le rapport qualité prix est excellent.
2 - Très bon accueil.
3 - forêt privée adossée à l'hôtel, petite ballade mais pendant laquelle j'ai aperçu un paresseux, plutôt sympa. Entendu également des singes hurleurs, qui apparemment sont aussi parfois visibles.
4 - Le restaurant de l'hôtel : très très bon, copieux, couple en cuisine très sympa. Cuistot vraiment passionné.

Cabinas Los Laureles was exactly what we were looking for in a place to stay. It was clean, easy to check in and out of, and they stored our bags securely while we were at Playa Ballena. Victor was very helpful and had suggestions for things to do Uvita. Thanks!
