Incredible experience Well worth every penny! Book one of the two master suites. This place is expensive but you're worth it, and it's far less expensive than buying a home in Costa Rica! I only wish that they had a community tramway to take guests and people from nearby properties to the beach It would save them from paying for road maintenance. Food, service, ambiance, no kids, amazing pools, and high enough in elevation to never feel too hot, which is important in this area. Just do it!

What a wonderful place to vacation. A six suite boutique hotel in the jungle of costa rica. Amazing staff and exquisite pool, views, and food. I believe they now have 8 suites 2 of which include private pools. Come here for quiet and relaxation.

I rarely write reviews, but this eco lodge is so spectacular that I have to rave about it. Tucked up high in the cliffs in Uvita, the design aesthetic and views from the top are stunning. We stayed 4 days and had an amazing time, even with some heavy rain showers. The staff is great, especially Olivia and Manuel. They're all born and raised in Costa Rica and can direct you to the best local spots to explore. The architect and designer have a place on-site too and are very welcoming. I'm keen on vegetarian food and loved the menus. My bf, who eats meat, was equally happy! Modern, chic, minimalist and sustainable - it's definitely worth a drive along the coast from San José. This is what pura vida is all about.

This is a beautiful hotel, the perfect place for a romantic getaway, the rooms are stunning, and the view to the whale tail is magic, the staff very attempt, and the service is 5 stars quality, definitely we will back soon

Literally heaven on earth ! From the rooms that have an spectacular view to the "Whales Tale" to the amazing common area at the restaurant and bar with it`s amazing infinity pool ! The entire property has views to the ocean which is perfect ! Perfect place to have a little romantic elope

The most intimate and beautiful hotel I've ever stayed at, not just in Costa Rica, but all of Central America. Kura has one of the most beautiful views of Bahia Ballena, which is arguably one of the most beautiful places in Costa Rica.

Nothing will prepare you for the unbelievable views at Kura. Hands down the most romantic, spectacular, well-designed hotel I've ever stayed at. Staff are so personable and manage to make such a luxurious place feel totally friendly as well. Completely unforgettable experience!!

We spent our honeymoon at the Kura Design Villas in April. We could not have asked for a better honeymoon. Initially we were skeptical because all of the reviews were so good. We didn't think it would be possible to live up to the reviews we read but we were wrong.

The staff was amazing and they made our entire stay very special. They heard that we really liked a particular soup that they were serving so they brought us back to the kitchen to show us how it was made a long with another dish they were serving. They also gave us a private dinner on our last night without us even asking. They anticipated our needs and always did everything with a genuine smile. They all really cared about our stay and they wanted us to enjoy it.

I would recommend Kura to anyone and everyone. We will be back someday.
