Great food. Great atmosphere. Fantastic, knowledgeable staff.
The best hostel I've been to in Costa Rica.
The staff is friendly and international, people are chill and the accommodation style, though not for everyone, was very much to my taste.
I would recommend staying here for at least 3 the, you wouldn't want to leave anyways
Lots of fun here! Great access to the beach and walking distance to town (3 kilometers). Friendly people, very casual. Be prepared to sleep in mosquitoe-nets and DO NOT have food in your room (outside of your refrigerator). We made that mistake (ants).
The penthouse was awesome! We really loved this place. Owners are working hard to make it sustainable, friendly, safe environment. And fun! Good food, lovely staff, close to the beach. What else could you want?
Beautiful place, eco, great facilities and they sale bamboo toothbrushes!. However if you want to have a local experience.. forget it, this is Gringolandia!! Apart from 2 ticos working at the desk and a few in the kitchen everyone there, from the people in the kitchen, behind the desk, behind the bar, cleaning are all tourist and speak little to no Spanish. It is important for hostels as well as for the visitors to pay attention to this as this is something happening a lot in CR and its really creating a social and financial gab between tourist and locals.
Unique place with awesome relaxed culture in paradise as close to the unspoiled beach as you can get.
Perfect for people who dont want to meet the usual party crowd you can find in any hostel. Perfect for surfing.
It's a nice place, good food and excellent service. I can say.. Recommend
A must for anyone wanting to expierence a hidden traveler's gem. The staff are world class. The food and drinks was very good.
A different hostel, great vibe and young spirit
Great ambiance and staff.
Good specials at the bar, just a great place to meet people or chill by yourself or your partner!
The hostel is nice, not more.
The atmosphere is great and the staff are very nice, this is the reason for the 3 stars.
It is very expensive, the most expensive I had in costa rica, and you don't get anything, just a kitchen to cook..
When we came there were a few people that left the dorms pretty not clean and the staff didn't came to clean in at all
There is not much close to the hostel, except the beach wich is beautiful and really fun to be at.
If you come here (and it is surely will be a nice time for you !) the be sure to buy food to cook before you come..
Best hostel I've ever been! The place is just insanely beautiful, vibes are really chilled and enjoyable and you'll find the most friendly and helpful staff. Really hope to be back one day!
Too crowded. Rooms are plain and overly priced. Better deals elsewhere. Food expensive.
Very nice and hippie hostel in Uvita. We stayed here more than a week and was very friendly and relaxing. Flatterby offers both dorms plus private rooms, restaurant and bar. The vibe is great and despite having only 4 toilets and 4 showers there is never a queue. Definitely recommended as it is 5 min from the beach.
Really nice place that you can either camp or rent a room. Friendly staff. Couple minutes walk to the beach. Best pancakes I've ever eaten for sure! If you like the combination of chocolate and coffee, try their chunky monkey drink.
Had good food and beer. Ambience is great and so are the staff.
Probably nice if not full. Double the customers than will fit in the place. Kitchen gets crowded, lines for toilet and shower. Food pretty good but expensive. Big hole in mosquito net, other things rickety and broken. Staff sometimes helpful, but not always.
