Well located in the center of town, spacious room and bathroom for 6, hostel well looked after, tidy and clean. On top of that hammocks at disposal to relax, a small pool to chill out facing the bar. I highly recommend

If you want a party hostel, this is your stay.
Pros: spacious and clean dorm rooms and washrooms. Hot shower! Dorm rooms have balconies. Hostel can easily book you on tours and organise shuttles. Staff mostly friendly. Good location. Restaurants all around.
Cons: main receptionist (young female) quite rude and spoke badly about guests in front of their faces in Spanish. Beds were not comfortable.

Stayed here last winter. Amazing , friendly , and courteous staff. Accommodations are decent for the price you pay. Nice little pool and bar and snack bar. Felt super safe.

I thought this place was great. Good showers, pool, and bar. However when I was there they did happen to book 11 people in a 10 person dorm. Otherwise it's a nice place, clean with good drinks!

Amazing location in the heart of La Fortuna. You can easily access the main square, and main roads of town. They own many properties across Costa Rica, and 3 in La Fortuna. We stayed in the "hostel" area with a small pool, hammocks hung throughout and a wonderful bar. All of the staff is beyond helpful and friendly. They gave us great prices on shuttles and tours throughout the country. Whether you're staying with them along the way or not.

Our double room, with private bath was quiet and clean. The bed wasn't great, but better than most hostels! The property was very safe and secure. All the guests were more than respectful at all times!

The place is really nice in ambience and the staff is really cool and friendly. Good location but very noisy due to traffic. Standard rooms are not that good for two people. Small beds and no side space.

Good place to stay in Arenal/ La Fortuna. It was raining all the time when we stayed so we went for rafting and hot springs. They had issues with the first 2 bed private room that was given to us. After complaining, they moved us to third floor. Guys in the reception were super friendly; hopefully girls will pick up something from them.

Anyways all 4 stars goes to the security guard who helped us when hostel management had party and we got locked out on balcony. This guy went above and beyond to unlock us. Awesome people in general in Costa Rica.

This was my first experience at a hostel. This place is absolutely amazing! The hostel is very nice. I did the 6 person co-ed dorm. Everyone was respectful of each other and their belongings. The receptionist at the front desk are extremely helpful. I asked so many questions and went down and talked to them so many times. They all know my name. Especially Lisa! She is amazing and extremely helpful. To me it seems like she truly cares about people and their vacation. Lisa has answered all questions with a smile. The rest of the staff have been wonderful. They have helped with planning the rest of our trip. They have some free classes during the week, definitely take advantage of it. If I have the opportunity to come back to La Fortuna, Costa Rica, this will be the place I stay!

This place is wow! Best hostel during my whole trip. It has a bit of a party vibe because there's a pool and a poolside bar, but also what seems to be an infinite amount of hammocks. The whole set up is really neat with lights at night time and lots of cool decor. The shower was huge and the guy with your information was super helpful. Really good private parking.

There were animals living in the walls, either rats or possums, making noise all night, walls are paper thin and you can hear everything, noise all night from twenty year olds getting drunk all night at the bar and loud music. Didn't get any sleep, complained, and all they did was offer me another room across the street, wouldn't refund my second night, also rude staff, who won't even help call you a cab if you re not buying tour tickets from them. I guess if you're twenty looking to get drunk then you ll be happy here, but its not for mature people, who want quiet and have kids.

Great experience, you MUST ask the front desk for tours they offer the very best pricing. Even cheaper than going to the place itself. For the price. Big TV, confortable bet, hot water shower and air conditioner. Not a 5 star hotel, but a confortable stay is granted.

Great place, wonderful staff and a fab swim up pool bar. Rooms great too! Only point to note is the bar party continues late and is noisy if you want an early night.

Good location. Good price. Stole our key and parking deposit. Ran out of parking. Shower drain didn't drain creating a flood in the restroom and almost the room.

Awesome place to stay, great location and excellent staff (especially Danny, who went out of his way and actually lined up other places for me to stay and arranged transportation as I continued my trip). I accidentally left my purse on an outside bench the day I left and when I returned one of the staff had picked it up and there wasn't a thing missing!

A nice and simple hostel in a very central location in La Fortuna. The hostel grounds are very nice with one heated and one non-heated pool and many hammocks. The rooms are very basic and a bit dark, but the air conditioning works great and the beds were comfortable. Parking in the back was safe and convenient.
