  Good location. Good breakfast. Rooms and bathrooms need to be updated. Especially the bathrooms. The shower was always clogged. And when I went to the bathroom in the middle of the night I saw a cockroach. Nasty.

  Strongly advise against using hotel's web site to register. Recommend the use of any hotel booking site to avoid being charged more than as depicted on the Hotel Plaza Rosa website. This is my second stay and booked directly with the hotel. Did not check "confirmation" and discovered after "checking in" that I was paying double the requested/posted rate. Fool me once
  
  As good, or better, quality lodging available all over Medellin for one-third the price of Hotel Plaza Rosa. And, without deception!
