Premium hotel!
The corner room is just amazing!
Make sure to ask for rooftop access when either having lounge access as a gold member or booking a room with additional lounge access!
Highest library in the world is a relaxing and calm place to read without the noise in the lounge below.
i was there twice.. a really nice place to be. awesome view over shanghai from the hotel bar.
Excelent service.
The hotel is great, whit great views and service.
The service is a bit pricy but is worthy.
The chinese restaurant has a great service with a great food selection and amazing attention.
Its near a lot of sightseens
Highly recommend this very well located hotel with excellent service! Well managed from top to bottom by Silvio Rosenberger. From the front desk people like Damon and Teresa to Bellman named Bell (yes!) and Eleven in the lounge and the lovely Maria Sablina Dir. Guest Relations - the staff was really terrific. The views from the rooms are spectacular as the lobby is on the 38th floor and the rooms go up from there. Breakfast was really fantastic with amazing selection of Asian and Western foods including Shanghai (pancake?) ; noodle bar; salad bar; dim sum, eggs, yogurt, baked goods. And the breakfast room has great views from the window tables. Good location - can walk to the Bund down Nanjing Road.
Nice hotel but doesn't live up to JW's standard of quality. Finishes are old and there are several flaws, sometimes including leaky windows or electrical problems. However, the service is good.
Review is for the Chinese Restaurant, Wan Hao. While the experience was lovely (attentive staff, comfortable atmosphere), that's something you'd expect from this caliber of a hotel. In terms of food, it was utterly average. Nothing really stood out--it's telling when you can get more flavorful xiao long bao on the streets. Frills but no character.
