Very attractive setting for a craft market. Prices are above the average for the crafts sold ( it could be argued that this is the case because of the type of market). The food is reasonably priced and the quality is good.

This market is a great place to get a hold of interesting and unique cultural trinkets if Chile. On top of the various art and clothes and jewelery, you can buy very tasty empanadas here which are baked in what looks like an outside brick oven. I'd recommend this place as a must visit, although I must warn that you may soon end up spending way more than you initially planned on ^_^

Definitely a great visit in Santiago, easy to get to from the Metro (exit and turn around, don't cross the road, walk through the park and look for the church towers) and many shops to choose from. Also the owners aren't pushy. I went on a Sunday morning and it was fairly quiet and the temps were cool. If you like to browse a lot you could spend an afternoon or morning here. Prices are reasonable, maybe a little higher than what one would generally spend on souvenirs, but Chile and Santiago in general are expensive, so the artists must earn their cost of living. I highly recommend.

Great place to shop and not feel it is a tourist trap. Great shops with all home made crafts and jewelry. Plus the prices are less than a mall and many can be negotiated, if you enjoy that.

Where : Pueblito Los Dominicos – Santiago - Chile
Title: I think its a MUST visit place in Santiago !

The Pueblito Los Dominicos is a really nice public park and nice area if you want to buy handcrafts from Chile. They have really beautiful hand made pieces and textiles, some restaurants and coffee places where you can spend at least half day there. The place has an easy access by metro where you can get out in the metro station “Los Dominicos” and from there it’s less than 10 minutes walking distance. You will find really nice crafts to buy but make sure you get some cash with you because usually most of the little stores don’t accept credit card and we ended up not buying something we really wanted to buy because of that. They have a ATM machine around but we didn’t trust it.
Anyway, even if you are not planning to buy anything, it’s still a nice touristic place to visit, with a traditional “Village” architecture and good empanadas.

I would call this a must-visit destination for Santiago visitors. Many shops selling mostly one-of-a-kind artwork, decor, and gift items in an authentic Chilean atmosphere.

Lovely mocking native Chilean town, full of small shops with lovely artisans doing their job, and a couple of small cafes with typical Chilean food. Good to get presents that are unique and different. A place to stroll at your leisure.

A great place off the beaten path in Santiago. Most of the crafts here and locally hand made. I found a great authentic Chilean alpaca sweater I purchased. It was great to walk around and enjoy the local crafts. They also have shows that present sing and dance from modern Chilean culture. I gave this place three stars because they had a rather large pet shop there and it seemed strange that they would be selling an selection of animals and I was unsure if it was an ethical pet shop or not. It seemed to be questionable.

Overall if you're looking for a gift that is locally made this is going to be your best bet, as many of the shops and markets in downtown Santiago have items made in China.

Charming Quaint Rustic Pleasant
It has all the handicraft of the country. Usual clothes bags sandals 👡 plants 🌿 . There's this lady sculptor. She does beautiful carvings with 🎄 trees \ wood . Affordable prices.

Clean and cute, though there isn't much to do here.
Very touristy in a sense that it feels like a stage prop, but the atmosphere is nice and it's not crowded.
There are some interesting (and pricey) arts and crafts here.

It's a cute, tiny village feel with a few small artisan shops but not much else. You can cover it in a couple minutes. If the weather has been wet, make sure to wear shoes that can get muddy.

Very enjoyable layout for wandering tbrough little shops & cafes. All the vendors we encountered were very friendly and helpful.
The day we were there, an orchestra-style band (orfeón) played for quite some time. We enjoyed immensely sipping coffee while listening to the music.

Great place to buy some souvenirs to take back home. Tad bit expensive but still worth it. Be sure to pick a Picarro because that is the best souvenir of all!

Wonderful place to visit to see high quality and unique artisan works. I love that many of the artists studios are right there where you can see them work, and the portions in the restaurants there are quite generous.

A nice place to walk around. Plenty of shops, some with nice stuff, most with average (but locally made) art.
There is also a couple of restaurants with nice but expensive food.

A place to find beautiful jewelry and locally produced crafts. All of the artisans have specific techniques, so you won't find the same anywhere else. They take cash and credit.

Nice place - number of small souvenir shops, galleries, workshops, pet shops. Some sell typical touristic stuff (part of it looks, like it's made in China), some have rather interesting jewelry and knitwear with more-or-less fair prices (negotiable). There's also several restaurants (one serving traditional Chilean dishes) and a small art gallery.
