The pizza were very good. They rushed us to order which was not very nice. But the food was good. The waiters can speak english, french, germain and italian for most of them.

Great location! Hotel located right in the center but not too noisy once windows are closed. Room was chic and modern. Would stay here again.

Hotel had desperate air conditioner unit in our room. It was not functioning properly and made our room over 30! Front desk at night no help. Otherwise lovely hotel. You can't beat the location. Nice breakfast. Nice restaurant giving 10% off at meals which is helpful in Lucerne.

It all looked ok when we arrived. A cute little hotel with a great location. We got there pretty late, so we put on the AC and went out for a quick drink. When we got back the room was swelteringly hot. We rang the reception, who informed us we were lucky to even have AC in the first place. We spent both nights with the windows open, trying to fall asleep in between drunks screaming outside. The decor in the room is a mixture of quality and really cheap. It's like they ran out of money half way through the renovation. The bathroom is the same, expensive fixtures and a really cheap shower door. When we checked in we were told that breakfast was included, but when we were halfway through breakfast on the second morning, we were told (in front of everyone else dining) that we couldn't have breakfast. Turns out it wasn't included. It was really embarrassing. The waitress then proceeded to put the food and coffee away, so we could have any more. They didn't deal with their mistake very professionally.

Nice hotel, fantastic location, great breakfast. I wish there was a/c for those really hot days.

Location of the hotel was very convenient. It was at the center of the town and was only a 10 minute walk from the train station right across the bridge. There were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

However, there were several issues I take with my one night stay at the hotel. First, the rooms were cramped for 2 people. Given the location and price, though, I understand the need for smaller rooms. The rooms also did not have AC (only a ceiling fan), which apparently, is not uncommon in Switzerland. We had to open the windows, but quickly closed them, because moths started to fly in through the windows. Second, I had made a booking for 3 rooms on the same reservation, however, when I checked in, all 3 rooms were in different floors because they couldn't see that it was on the same reservation. Furthermore, the lady at the reception deliberately made myself and another guest (both Asians) wait in line for her assistance, while she helped another guest (German, by the way she spoke) even though we were in line first. To top it off, the power in our room went out in the middle of the night at 1am and we had to call reception to fix it. As we were asleep, all we had on at the time, was the ceiling fan. We were not offered any apology or compensation. For all these reasons, I cannot recommend this hotel.

We loved Melanie at the front desk and how polite and helpful she was. Aside from her and the breakfast , this hotel experience was one of our worst. They double booked our room and I believe mini fridge access and 50 CHF (on our way out of the country) was not fair compensation for the head ache. The toiletseat fell off when I lifted it up and the rooms were nice but cramped. Location was wonderful but I guess I will just have a hard time accepting the double booking of the only suite in the hotel. I booked 8 months out.

I would not suggest it. It's not that pleasant a place and they were really racist.

Fantastic room, friendly staff, and comfy bed with 2 comforters. The pictures look small but our room was a really nice size (especially after having a room we could barely move around in Paris). The shower is ridiculously small (good luck bending over to clean your legs and feet) and the breakfast is your standard crappy continental breakfast but other than that, this hotel was great! Would definitely come back.

Very clean and friendly. Excellent breakfast included and great dining in the evenings. You pay a little extra for the location but it is definitely in the centre of everything.

The location of the hotel is fantastic ,right in the city center. The rooms were very small. Noise from the street could be heard though.
