Helpful and mostly polite staff. I got a really good suggestion about places to eat from them. Sometimes you have to wait until they come to the desk, happened a couple of times, but not too big of a deal. The thing is that it is rather far from places (restaurants, station, etc). It has got dinner served until 8pm, but if you arrive later you've just missed it and have to go out. There are 2 bus stations that will take you to the centre (bus 18 and 19), but if you are tired after a day of hiking you might not feel like going out after 20:00. Otherwise it is a good place. Breakfast is 10 francs, 3 course dinner 17. It is clean, quiet enough, and has got a lot of common areas with good, free Wi-Fi.

Very basic accomodation. Wifi only available in common area. Staff are nice. Breakfast is excellent! Within walking distance to main area or alternatively easy to catch public transport

No wifi in your room,no kitchen,too far from station,you even can't use charging service because it is downward so your charger will fall down,only people here is very nice

This hostel is OK. Catch the 18 or 19 buses from Luzern Hauptbahnhof. The WiFi signal is crap except in certain areas on the ground floor and first floor. At $40 or $45 per night for a hostel bunk, wifi these days should be available in your own bed! Get with the times, please, Swiss youth hostels. You're charging outrageous prices for snacks in a hostel where no cooking is allowed. Give us a little more value! Is that too much to ask?

Clean and friendly youth hostel. Breakfast was above average for a hostel. There was secured bike storage in the cellar.
