I came here for a training event. This place is simply amazing: beautiful scenery, wonderful staff, delicious food, and an indoor pool and sauna.

Gorgeous location, Underwhelming service. The sauna areas are gorgeous, view from terraces are beautiful. But the service was terrible. Food was so-so, coffee was TERRIBLE! Rooms in the "old" part of the hotel are somewhat dated & noisy. More like 3 star definitely not 4.
Waiters and reception staff either have attitudes or chips on their shoulder. As if guests are a nuisance. For example, I asked for water at breakfast & the waiter looked down her nose and and said "it's on the buffet" (in a flat voice, as if I was stupid). An appropriate response for a 4star hotel should "Absolutely, let me get you a glass (still? or sparkling)?". Similarly, you shouldn't have to wait 10 minutes for coffee after flagging down a waiter at breakfast. It should be asked, politely when seating a guest: "can I offer you some coffee this morning?"
There are many, many options in the oberland region with beautiful views. Rude staff ruins the experience.response / report this review -

A very nice Welcome whith free drink and chocolate on bed. Very nice view above the lake and mountains. Very large rooms. Amazing spa with heated pools(one outside heated 35 degree) no catle tea/coffee and no Frigidaire in room) but exlent hotel and very comfortable and recommended

Located in a beautiful area with great places to walk or cycle locally. Great facilities with a good choice of saunas and rest places to enjoy the day. Food is excellent with an exceptional breakfast. Prices are in line with others in Switzerland. Cannot see how those with no face can give it two stars without any reasons

Schönes Hotel für Entspannung. Das Bad ist nicht überwältigend, die Saunalandschaft ist aber schön. Das Essen im 4 Gang Menü ist ausgezeichnet.
