Easy to check in and find rooms. Lockers were sufficiently big. Loads of free stuff and discount vouchers. Kitchen was really big. Wish there were more bathroom stalls per level. Very central location with plenty of shops around and things to see.

Nice common area. Fast and free internet. Clean showers and toilets. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location. No free parking nearby. They sell Swiss army knives for 10% off if you staying there. Less expensive than you can purchase in the states.

Lovely little hostel, friendly and cosy so easy to meet people. I really liked the facilities they had, the kitchen was much better than a lot of hostels in Europe

This hostel is perfect !!!!! If you are still looking for accommodation? you have to book this hostel. because this hostel is very clean, service is also good. bed is good and clean WC also~ and kitchen too. everything is very convenience.
this level of hostel is very high almost like HOTEL.

My wife and I stayed at the Bern Backpackers Hotel Glocke and could not be happier with our decision. Cozy rooms, fast/responsive lift, awesome lounge with kitchen, affordable souvenir shop, great wifi, and super friendly staff! Not to mention the location is fantastic. While it's not a luxury hotel, it has a lot of luxury qualities. Would stay again.

Great location. Clean room and good facilities (euro and Swiss sockets next to each bed, really huge lockers). Nice showers. Common area provides free pasta and rice. Fast wifi. Free transport pass including the ride up Gurten.

A weird, creepy old man stayed in our room thoughkept mumbling to himself and smelled bad. shouldn't be allowed to check in at the first place.

Loud buzzing noise outside the room every couple of minutes. If you close the windows to block the noise it gets too hot.

Clean rooms and provides what you expect. Would have liked them to throw in a towel for use. Was full of foreign workers from India and China who apparently like to yell in the shower at 11pm.

Nice hostel located right in the middle of everything. Nothing is more than a 10-15 min walk away. They also give you a card that gives you access to public transportation for free. Both the rooms and bathrooms are clean. There is only one toilet for girls to use on each floor though. Staff is very nice. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The place was clean, had easy elevator and wifi access and a public common area. The room lock boxes were closed and very spacious for both my bags. The rooms have a sink which was nice. Price is fair but Bern might be a bit more expensive than the average for lodging.

Decent hostel in Bern. In Switzerland everything is expensive so this hostel is good for €35 a night for a dorm room. The rooms and beds aren't anything great and they have this ridiculous system in Switzerland of checking in at 3 and checking out at 10am while giving the bedsheets and pillow covers back after putting them on the previous night. Other than that it's good.

They have a great common room and kitchen along with a vending machine and they also sell souvenirs relatively cheap. A travel pass is included with the hostel reservation and the location is near most of the tourist spots in bern so that's another plus.
