With "Superior" room, nonetheless small, bare. Proximity to sights and train best attributes. Adequate free breakfast. Helpful staff.

Standard room was a bit small but perfectly manageable and bed was very comfortable. Staff are friendly and always happy to help. Half board is definitely worth the additional cost, the evening meal is varied and delicious. Great location for access to the slopes and truly ski in at the end of the day. Sun terrace is fabulous for lunch or snacks.

This was our third stop on our honeymoon and we were seeing multiple days of rain and clouds. Our room had a view of the hillside where the funicular goes up and down. This was a different experience for us as you have to take two trams after parking your car. The second tram drops you off 2500 feet higher than the Lauterbrunnen valley. You can't drive to this hotel and that was a cool feeling. Staff was friendly and courteous, helpful in every way. The breakfast was spectacular! And we could walk to the Coop store, the trails, restaurants, and other features of this village in a matter of minutes. They have a deal with the athletic center in close proximity but bring some franks as you'll need them for towels after using the pool. Overall, wonderful place and will hopefully make it back there one day.
