Rustic feel with a touch of history. Building is over 300 years old so don't expect air-Cond in summer. If you're lucky there are some spare standing fans in the hallway for you to use. We booked the family room which was perfect for 2+2 kids. Breakfast is decent and the little old lady that helps keep the place clean is so cute and friendly.
The only drawback for us was the lack of public transport after 8 p.m but Interlaken West and OST is only 20 mins walk away.response / report this review -

Staff could have been friendlier. The location is a bit far from the centre of the crowed. Ceiling is too low and the room we stayed in was facing the street so it was very noisy. The exterior and interior setup was lovely.

If you are IRISH or BRITISH, you should avoid this place for the sole reason that almost all the power sockets are designed in such a fashion that makes it impossible to insert the continental adaptor into them. Ergo, forget about charging your digital appliances if you hail from IRELAND or the UK.
