This review is only for the restaurant. Very well located at the centre of interlaken. Offers good options at reasonable price according to Swiss standard.

Had a lunch there. Service of very poor quality. Waitress got our order wrong. (language barrier, some do not even speak German). Part of our order was brought and then seconds later ripped out of our hands and given to the neighbour table..because they had the same salad and fondue..some time later they took french fries from the same neighbour table and brought them for our daughter. Yes, I did order fries, but not being served this way! While working on one tourist class, they forgot that there are still other tourists visiting this city. Those other tourists might happen to have some knowledge about gastronomy and they do care about how and what they are being served. Very disappointing the whole situation.

The hotel does not meet the standards of a 4 star hotel. The staff is not friendly. They are rude with the customers. The rooms are below average; plus it has been noted that 500 Franks will have to be paid if it wasn't left tidy. The breakfast selection is very limited too.

Horrible place, staff was not friendly and got an attitude when conversing with you.
House keeping job is poor, they don't change the bed sheets. Sheet already smelled like sweat when we got there since the place does not have an Air-conditioning.
Building is really old so is the furniture.
Finally over priced and definitely not a 4 star hotel.response / report this review -

The room was comfortable and large enough for all our luggage. A plus was the bath which was really relaxing agter a hard day sightseeing. It is centrally located close to a large supermarket and transport and surrounded by places to eat. The front office staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. On the downside, the air conditioning didn't work and the fam was of little use on 27deg days with high humidity. The complimentary mineral water was nice but once it was gone (The first day) it was not replaced.
Breakfast provided a reasonable variety of choice and the laundry was efficient if a little expensive by comparison with other motels in which we have stayed in Switzerland.response / report this review -

This was a pretty decent hotel in Interlaken. It was right in the main street and close to most attractions. There are better hotels in the area but a lot more expensive. I was happy with this choice.

Diane was the friendliest person! She made us feel very welcome. Hotel is beautiful, rooms are clean and spacious. We loved our stay at Hotel Krebs!

It's a small, 3 floors hotel, 4 stars, but deserves 5! Our reception was the best: they drew a heart in our bed using the duvets, and they placed chocolates and flowers around the heart! Beautiful! You can purchase train tickets in the reception too, with no charge for the service! In the breakfast, there was a delicious bread! Absolutely loved this place!
