I would give a 5 BUT I have two issues.

One I believe breakfast ending at 10am is way too early.

Secondly, the staff at the front desk are awful. No smile and do not make you feel welcome at all.

Saying that, free parking and the rooms and facilities in the room have to be the best room I have stayed at. I have stayed in many worldwide 5 star resorts and was amazingly surprised how good it was.

A real shame it was let down by the staff.

Stayed here for a week..!! Hotel situated far from city and near to airport..!! Recommend for only short stay..Though hotel provide you a travel card but there is no tram connectivity to this location..!! Only one bus from SBB 50 number euro airport goes through this route and stops exactly opposite to hotel..!! No near by restaurants or super markets..!!

Rooms are comfortable and Evening staff at reception are polite and help full..when I have asked for water bottle they gave me 2 bottles and exactly opposite with Morning staff at reception. When I have asked for Water bottle they told only one bottle is complementary and advised me to drink tap water though I didn’t asked for free..!! Airport/office drop off service is good but is on high demand need to book atleast 24hours before..!!

Nice rooms and lovely bathrooms. Well located for the airport and close to our office. Shuttle bus service offered between office, hotel and business / conference locations, but does get booked up quickly. Only a very short distance from the nearest bus stop, though, and Swiss public transport is excellent. Hotel provides complimentary public transport pass. No minibar or tea & coffee making facilities. CHF60+CHF10 service charge is the minimum required room service spend.

I stayed here with a friend when our flight was cancelled so haven't actually had to pay for it.

The room is really big and there is a separate shower and toilet to where the sink and mirror are. The lights around the bed can change colour depending on the setting you put them on (I didn't know this until my friend showed me when I had finished packing to go home).

The room has a tv and towels and toiletries are provided. The bed was big but I found the covers were not long enough for me (I'm only about 170cm tall so not very tall).

I have a croissant for breakfast but it was quite dry and the cooked breakfast didn't look brilliant. Orange juice was fine though.

If I was going to stay in Basel again I would think about staying here as it is very close to the airport (only about 2-3 stops by bus) and it is very easy to get to the railway station from the hotel too. It is a clean hotel and has very good customer service.

Airport Hotel Basel is very clean and the staff are fantastic, bus right at the doorstep and the hotel gives you free travel vouchers which was a huge bonus. .
Casino right next door and the hotel gives you 5CFR to play with which was a bit of fun.
But what I did find odd was that there was no fridge or tea/coffee making facilities which I have never come across before

The staff is just wonderful. I got a great deal. Very nice snacks and finger food. Having only one restaurant in the casino is not really a good idea (my opinion)

Good hotel, easy to access airport and city centre. You get a transport pass for free public transport during your stay, also a 5chf voucher for the casino. Fast free Internet, new large rooms. Lunch and room service options are a bit limited, dinner and breakfast are good. Very friendly and accommodating staff. No real bathroom amenities, only soap from a wall bottle.

Very nice design , nice rooms but minimalist features - soap from wallfixed bottle like in ibis - one bottle was empty - towel holder was unscrewed loose
The Normal Food Restaurant closes at 21.30 , what for the only airport hotel in Basel is not guestfriendly

Great comfortable room and amazing looking bar area. Friendly staff and nice selection of beers. Also shower temp is perfect too. Best hotel I've stayed at.

This hotel has everything what a hard working business man needs: fitness center, sauna, free breakfast, free parking, polite staff, spacey rooms with working table, conformable double bed with 4 colors of light settings, super rich breakfast. Totally recommend.
