Relaxing place with great views, reception staff should be enhanced, but the owner makes for the deficit, highly recommended place to stay in, very clean and cozy, deserves 5 stars rating

[NOT RECOMMENDED!!!]
This hotel is expensive, poor service and very far from station.
They are very expensive. They don't provide room service all the time. In night, you wont find any staff working there to help you out. Staff is not much friendly too.
Its far from Wilderswill station, almost 15mins walk with no public transporation( taxi charges 36 franks for 4kms)
They have dinner available only from 6.30 to 8pm. No AC/fans in room. No room facilities like coffee machines, iron, eatables, dental kits, shower caps, slippers, shaving kits etc.
Overall my experince with this hotel is not worth for money.response / report this review -

Only one negative, so I'll get it out of the way: no air conditioning. This is not really a problem since you can open a door to your balcony and let the mountain air in. The views from this hotel are stunning. The Jungfrau mountains on one side, Interlaken in the valley on the other. Waking up every morning to the sound of sheep and cows with their cowbells gently ringing is like something out of a movie. Next time I'm here, I will definitely book the Berfhof again.

Quite a walk to the next public transport, very very basic hotel rooms and breakfast. Rather a good hostel than a hotel.

Considering the prices I have seen in Switzerland this is one of the more economical options. The view from the hotel is just fascistic and they provide a very good breakfast. They also have a decent sized parking lot that could easily fit 10 cars. The hotel staff and service are pretty good. I would've given them 5 stars but for the rooms. The one I stayed was a very nominal size. But that's probably expected at the price range. Additionally, their internet speeds are decent as well. I'd certainly recommend this place for anyone looking for an adorable stay in Interlaken.

Great place for families. Room 105 has a loft with 3 small beds, perfect for kids. The view from the room is spectacular. Recommend taking a taxi from the train station if arriving in Interlaken by rail. Free bus passes for Interlaken are provided upon check-in.
