Rooms are large, clean and cozy. Fantastic view of Thunersee and surrounding landscape from the balcony.
Very friendly staff who'd go the extra mile to help you out with all you need to know to enjoy the area, things to do and specially not to do :)

Stayed at Hotel Gloria during July 2017. The hotel is in a stunningly beautiful position in Beatenberg, with views across Lake Thun and taking in the Jungfrau mountain area. The room was very clean and spacious with a balcony to enjoy the fantastic views. Chairs and a blanket are provided on the balcony for your comfort. The best part of this hotel is the warm, friendly and very helpful owners and their staff, who made the entire stay a very memorable experience. They had no hesitation in going the extra yard to make our stay enjoyable. In honesty we felt like we were a part of the hotel 'family' and that is something I rarely find. Nearby the hotel is the cable car to the Neiderhorn which provides one of the best views of the Swiss Alps I have seen. Given its location and service I found the hotel to be great value for money and have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending other travellers to stay at Hotel Gloria and enjoy the family feeling of a very friendly and well run hotel.

Beautiful setting, prompt & excellent (and kid friendly) service, and delicious food. Highly recommend lamb and bacon wrapped chicken entrees. The patio over looking Interlaken was remarkable!!

Hotel Gloria is run with lots of love and care, which was reflected throughout our stay: The warm welcome, the greeting message in the room, the candle lit on our balcony, the excellent 5-star dinner, and that good feeling that we have made new friends!

We can only recommend the wonderful Hotel Gloria in Beatenberg!

We stayed at the Gloria over Christmas. The hotel is very clean and has a recently remodeled feel to it (as of early 2009). The location is perfect with views of the lake and wonderful mountains. In winter, the sun rises and sets behind the mountains opposite the lake, making for terrific views from your balcony. The food service was good and hotel is near the Gondola. The one drawback is the road up from Interlaken which is very curvy and narrow in places.
