  Big comfortable rooms, beds were comfortable and there is a soothing river noise (closing windows can take it away if u don't like it). The hotel is located just under the hill next to river and its a lovely location, not far from the train/bus station either (around 5 to 10 minutes walk). The owner is super friendly and very helpful.
  Few points I highlighted for reader's convenience:
  • Free bus to Interlaken (ask for hotel's blue card @ reception)
  • Discount for Harder Kulm (ask for hotel's blue card @ reception)
  • Free storage available during stay.
  • Taking shower while standing is impossible in second floor.
  • No hot item in breakfast and choice is just very basic.
  • No window view from top floor bedrooms (apart from end of the row ones where a side window available)
  • You may struggle to find parking since there are only six or seven bays available but at least it's free.

  An old style place. The room was quite basic but it is conveniently located next to wilderswil train station. There are trains and buses to Interlaken area every 30 min or less.

  Service was excellent, Renata, who was on dury for my stay, made sure i was treated like a queen. She was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area and things to do. The location was not the easiest to find due to some road work on the main road close to it, but once found, super easy to access.

  (+) one gets a discount on Harder Kulm by staying at this hotel
  (+) very quiet
  (+) very good ratio: price-quality

  Sehr schöner und gepflegter Gasthof. Das historische Haus liegt malerisch an einer alten Holzbrücke neben der Kirche. Die Jungfrau Region ist über den weniger als 300m entfernten Bahnhof gut zu erreichen. Im Skipass ist die Bahnfahrt eingeschlossen. Wir waren in 1h17min auf dem Schilthorn (2970m). Die Zimmer sind absolut sauber. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig. Die Wirtin ist sehr freundlich und stets hilfsbereit. Leider wird nur noch Übernachtung und Frühstück angeboten.

  The staff were friendly and the food was spectacular. Meat in Switzerland is generally expensive but the Steinbock was reasonably priced and the serving size was very generous. I have been back again since and it was still spectacular, I will be going again.
