If you're looking for a picturesque hotel, with the view of the mountains and nearby woods, and a romantic atmosphere, this place is not for you.
In addition many windows look directly onto the street (it may be some traffic noise, this street is the only one in the village), and give north side, or east side, with other buildings in front.The rooms facing south overlook a courtyard.
Moreover it is located in Montana, far from Crans, and above all, away from golf courses.
However, the main reason I give one * is due to the unpleasant staff's attitude.
A couple of days after I had posted my first comment, as I was passing by the hotel, a girl, a member of the staff, sitting outside smoking, suddenly stood up and yelled at me "I had no right to make any kind of comments, or to take any pictures, etc". She was infuriated and very aggressive, almost minacious. As a local guide it is the first time I experience this kind of rude behavior. (Local guide, a dangerous activity?)
Then see below : the comments of the hotel about my comment: As I rewrote my first notice, what I do very often, they are now pretending it was so "bad" it "has been deleted by Google.com"
My opinion is personal, and just one among many others.Why do they give it so much importance? "She tries to attack us ()", "() commenting about a place she absolutely doesn't know". My statements are accompanied by recent photos.

Alright hotel, although except for the location it didn't have many other qualities. The price was very high for the service

As the name states, the hotel is in the centre of Crans-Montana, or to be more precise at the centre of Montana. Funi station is a mere 10 min walk and there are plenty of bus stops nearby in case you need to travel.
Being at the centre of Montana means access to all the little shops that are available there. Plenty of restaurants dotted around and even a couple of supermarkets at close proximity. There is also the crans-Montana casino nearby.
The rooms are very spacious, neat and tidy and clean. The view from the rooms is nothing special, but you just have to get out and walk about to enjoy scenery of Valais. The room rates are acceptable for a 3* Swiss hotel.
