  Solid 3 stars, and thanks to a great bar, my rating was elevated to 4 stars. Breakfast is not bad either.

  It's a five star hotel with great customer satisfaction all the time. I'm spending my 2 weeks holiday in Switzerland here, great view from my room; mountains, and ocean

  Rooms very comfortable. We were lucky to have a high up room with a fantastic unrestricted view of Locarno, lake, valley and mountains. Bed mattresses and bedding were really nice to sleep on and the airconditioning was brilliant with the heat.
  Breakfast was excellent. All very fresh and delicious, buffet style included in the room. The pool, spa sanctuary and outdoor garden area with lounges was bliss - totally worth staying at the hotel for the relaxation.
  Dinner at the restaurant had amazing food although we were unlucky with the service (am sure that was a one off from what we saw other days). The funicular stops just at the hotel but it only took 10mins to walk up the hill otherwise (make sure you press the stop button on the funicular or they won't stop at the hotel it's the first stop). Reception staff were extremely helpful. Loved that day packs and umbrellas were provided in the room, along with nespresso coffee.

  Very comfortable hotel with great views and excellent food.
  
  The rooms are a good size by European standards -- average for North Americans. They're not fancy, but are well appointed, but an excellent Nespresso machine, snacks, etc. The food in the restaurant and via rooms service is very good -- fresh ingredients and well prepared.
  
  Service was overall very good -- friendly and efficient but not fawning. Not all staff speak English fluently, though it seems most are multilingual: French, German and Italian, of course.
  
  If you can, get a high-floor room with a lake view. It's inspiring to gaze out at the mountains and the water at any time of day.

  Excellent hotel. Spacious modern rooms, great breakfast, in room coffee making facility, big screen TV, all rooms with lake views
  
  Negatives - pillows too soft. A bit of hike up from town, but you can take the funicular railway, car parking extra
