Adorable themed hotel just minutes from thr train station and directly across from a gorgeous park and the boat ferry. I stayed in the Frank Sinatra room. The balcony had a bistro set for sitting and watching the morning sky while sipping espresso. The amenities are minimal (squeeze gel for hair and body. No individual shampoos or conditioner). Breakfast was very small and not worth an upcharge. Free delicious coffee in the lobby will wake you up enough to go enjoy breakfast at any of the cafes on the block! Lota of brochures and helpful information about the area. Locarno is gorgeous, on Lake Maggiore, with boat service to Italy! Many markets, lovely shops, great restaurants. This hotel is perfect for a relaxing stay. No tub, just a shower in my room. But oh the view was spectacular and I would never trade that balcony for a bathtub! Checkin was easy and friendly. My dog stayed at no extra charge. Wonderful experience that I wouldn't have had except that my train from Italy to Zug was cancelled in Giubiasco! Exceptional location, especially 2nd floor rooms with lake view. Rooms are well and elegantly furnished. Breakfast is simple but genuine much recommended for a relaxing weekend!

Lage ist unschlagbar! Direkt am See und wenige Gehminuten in das Stadtzentrum. Wir hatten vom Zimmer einen traumhaften Blick auf den See. Das Zimmer war ordentlich und sauber. Frühstück hatten wir nicht. Leider ist die Rezeption tagsüber nicht ständig besetzt. Als wir ankamen war niemand da und wir mussten über 2 Stunden warten. Das sollte man im Vorfeld mitteilen, dann kann man sich darauf einstellen.
